Turn 10 XBox One car models that aren't in FM6

Some info I can already pull from my upcoming spreadsheet is the following list of car models that Turn 10 has in their other Xbox One games (FM5, FH2, FH:F&F) but that is not in FM6 (yet). A lot of the car models have been obsolete because of newer versions we have but there are a few interesting models as well that have been left out. And as you probably know, the 2008 Ferrari California has been spotted in FM6 car lists so it will probably appear soon as a unicorn car. Here is the full list, the ones that I think would be a nice addition to FM6 I’ve put in Bold text.

2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato (Villa d’Este)
2010 Audi R8 Coupé 5.2 FSI quattro
2013 Audi S4
2013 BMW M Performance M3 Racing
2011 Bugatti Veyron Fast & Furious Edition
2011 Chevrolet #4 Corvette Racing ZR1
2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
2013 Chevrolet #1 Andretti Autosport Dallara DW12
2013 Chevrolet #12 Team Penske Dallara DW12
2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Fast & Furious Edition
2015 Dodge Charger R/T Fast & Furious Edition
2008 Ferrari California
1977 Ford Foyt #14 Gilmore Coyote
2011 Ford #5 Ford Performance Racing FG Falcon
2014 Ford Ranger T6 Rally Raid
2011 Holden #1 Toll Holden Racing Team Commodore VE
2013 Holden #10 Holden Xbox Racing Team Commodore VF
1984 Honda Civic CRX Mugen

2013 Lotus E21
2014 Maserati Ghibli S Fast & Furious Edition
1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata
2010 Mazda MX-5 Super20
2013 Mazda #7 Andretti Autosport USF2000
2014 Mini Monster Energy ALL4 Racing X Raid
2012 Nissan GT-R Fast & Furious Edition
1970 Plymouth Barracuda Fast & Furious Edition
1970 Plymouth Road Runner Fast & Furious Edition (but give us the normal version, not F&F)
2014 Renault Spark SRT_01E
2013 Robby Gordon #7 Speed Energy Drink Stadium Super Truck
1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird
1995 RUF CTR2
2011 RUF Rt 12 S
2014 Tesla Model S
1998 Toyota Supra Fast & Furious Edition
1970 Volkswagen #1107 Desert Dingo Racing Stock Bug
2014 Volkswagen Beetle GRC

I’d like to see the RUFs reappear as well (especially the Yellowbird) but I doubt that will happen now that Porsche is back. On the other hand both Fiat & Abarth are in, both Dodge & SRT, both Holden & HSV, both Ford & Shelby, etc etc.

I strongly doubt that, so far the trend in FM6 is that all DLC cars have been completely new to XBox One. Recycled cars from FH2/FM5 are only used as unicorns so far (Dom’s Charger, Ferrari 312 PB & soon Ferrari California).

With some of these cars it kinda makes sense that they aren’t in FM6 (the baja bug, the rally raid Ranger T6, etc.), but with others I just don’t get it. Like how the Lotus E21 in FM5 was replaced with the E23 in FM6. I don’t get why they got rid of the old car instead of letting us have two modern F1 cars.

I really hope FM7 has all of the cars in FM5 and FM6, plus most of the stuff from FH2 and (presumably) FH3.

This would be the problem - F1 licensing is VERY strict.

The F1 cars aren’t in it under a F1 license, just the Lotus/Renault license.

I’m sure that if you scroll down a few threads you’ll find a number of posts complaining about how much of FM is recycled from one iteration to the next. It sucks being a developer. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

The RUFs might never come back due to Porsche, but a CTR2 might be good to fill in for the 993.

In the same way I don’t think the relatively older model year race cars (V8 Supercars, IndyCar, E21) will come back either, but I do think the C6R should have stayed. The other open-wheel cars would be awesome, though.

The BMW probably won’t come back due to Sector 3 (SimBin)'s DTM license.

The Spark was the prototype Formula E car.

Also the F&F cars, but most of those cars are modified versions that we already have in the game and was just a Furious 7 tie-in.

The Rangie, Cherokee, and Aston Zagato I can understand because the newer models we have in-game are almost indifferent to the former versions.

The off-roaders we got in FH2 would make for amazing diversity, but I’m unsure how they’d work due to the controversy of the SUVs and trucks being used online.

I lament the Kia, Citroen, CRX, and the Super20 being removed. I don’t find those to be that hard.

The older, lower-power cars I think I’d definitely regret getting pulled. Not everyone wants to start out with the higher-power cars from the get-go. The old California is good news, though.

I think SUVs and light offroad vehicles in FM6 is okay, we already have that now anyway. But the heavy offroaders that were added with Storm Island I think they should just stay there. I wouldn’t even put them in FM3, they kinda belong with Storm Island.

Ooh and I hope any future title doesn’t have the F&F cars anymore either, having them in FH2 and FM6 is enough already.

There’s also a Porsche 993 GT2 in the Porsche extension trailer.

Perhaps we will see the 2011 Citroën DS3 Racing as unicorn car. It was one of the leaked car months ago along with the Caparo and limo. Unless of course there was licensing issues or something.

isn’t the Tesla Model S in FM6?

That could be the case, I believe DS went separate under DS Racing and doesn’t carry the Citroen badge anymore.

Different in powertrain and drivetrain :

FH2 : 2014 Tesla Model S (319 kW RWD)
FM6 : 2015 Tesla Model S P85D (515 kW AWD)

I would love the Mugen CRX to come back in FM6. Not sure why it was omitted to begin with.

I can explain the IndyCars. I’m FM5 the IndyCars were based on the 2013 season. The #1 Andretti Autosport Dallara-Chevrolet was Ryan Hunter-Reay’s 2013 car (won the 2012 IndyCar Championship), #12 Penske Dallara-Chevrolet was Will Power’s 2013 car (now #1 in FM6), #15 Rahal Letterman Dallara-Honda has changed sponsors since 2013, #9 Chip Ganassi Dallara-Honda switched to Chevrolet in 2014. Also for 2015 Honda and Chevrolet introduced respective body/aerodynamic kits.

I guess my question is…with all this info presented to us with spreadsheets and what not, just what in the hell are we supposed to do with it

  1. There isn’t a spreadsheet, best we can tell.
  2. It’s nice to know, and now there’s a list of it. Even if you don’t care for OP’s opinion, its nice to know. For example, I know that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell, I might never use it, but its nice to know.

2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato (Villa d’Este) (the V12 in game)
2010 Audi R8 Coupé 5.2 FSI quattro (it’s only in because the '13 cost money)
2013 Audi S4 (only in because the RS4 cost money… twice)
2013 BMW M Performance M3 Racing (DTM licensing, I would bet they were hoping to get the C-Class and A5 for FM6, but it didn’t happen)
2011 Bugatti Veyron Fast & Furious Edition (FF7 likely isn’t licensed anymore)
2011 Chevrolet #4 Corvette Racing ZR1 (C7 in FM6)
2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (Z28 in FM6)

2013 Holden #10 Holden Xbox Racing Team Commodore VF (age)
1984 Honda Civic CRX Mugen (again, I have no idea)
2013 Honda #15 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Dallara DW12
2013 Honda #9 Target Chip Ganassi Dallara DW12
2013 Infinity #77 Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Dallara IPS Indy Lights (probably licensing and the fact there’s nothing else for it to race)
2014 Infinity Q50S (the Eau Rouge)
2012 Jaguar XKR-S (the XKR-S GT)
2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 (the '14)

2011 Kia Cee’d (licensing, also cutting ties with TG)
2012 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged (the '14)
2013 Lotus E21 (the '15 and for people asking why not both, the '13 is actually much faster, which would be very embarrassing for all parties involved)
2014 Maserati Ghibli S Fast & Furious Edition
1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata (the '94)
2010 Mazda MX-5 Super20 (again, no idea why)
2013 Mazda #7 Andretti Autosport USF2000 (probably nothing to race it with)
2014 Mini Monster Energy ALL4 Racing X Raid (read above reason)
2012 Nissan GT-R Fast & Furious Edition
1970 Plymouth Barracuda Fast & Furious Edition
1970 Plymouth Road Runner Fast & Furious Edition (but give us the normal version, not F&F)
2014 Renault Spark SRT_01E (the '15’s )
2013 Robby Gordon #7 Speed Energy Drink Stadium Super Truck
1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird (the almighty corporate behemoth that is VAG)
1995 RUF CTR2
2011 RUF Rt 12 S
2014 Tesla Model S (the '15, Tesla evolves fast)
1998 Toyota Supra Fast & Furious Edition
1970 Volkswagen #1107 Desert Dingo Racing Stock Bug (it’s an offroader)
2014 Volkswagen Beetle GRC (it’s an offroader)

Vehicles will come and vehicles will go in the world of Forza. Licenses expire, models are replaced, and space has to be made for new content; thus, one should not expect (though, many do find a way to assume) the complete vehicle roster to be carried over, iteration after iteration.
