I saw one in an A lobby the other day. I don’t think he banned anyone though but I wasn’t in there very long. It was Jonk. Come to the ghost league and ban the corner cutters.
I’m happy to see efforts being taken because I was also in the Can-Am last night and someone (is it wrong to post the gamertag? I remember it) was repeatedly ruining races. Everyone reported him but he never got kicked and seemed unconcerned the reports would do anything to him.
Also, why ban corner cutters in ghost? Just do a clean lap and you beat them. I’d find that more satisfying personally.
yea but they get the points, why should I place worse cause someone feels they deserve to win?
Oh wait, I thought finishing order in Ghost was by best lap time. It’s not? It really should be.

This is the single most important development in the game since it was released. Turn 10 should start a recruiting school for checkers, and not inform us of how many there will be.

It’s nice to hear that guys from T10 are participating in online lobbies more often now, before FM6 I’ve barely ever seen them in unless they’re just not using their badges.
Also, just because people have letters in front of their names doesn’t mean they’re good racers, fast, or clean. I’ve seen my fair share of “leaderboarders” driving blind and wrecking online, it happens. Lots of people also blame wrecks on others when it’s actually caused by them, it’s incredibly common. If you get into an accident, save the replay and watch it through without bias, maybe you just didn’t see the other racer or you stuck your nose where it shouldn’t have been.
As many have said, retaliation can cause more problems so remember what ‘Frozen’ once sang, “Let it go, let it go!” There’s the odd time where I’ll find myself taking someone out, not because it’s retaliation, because it’s in a safe manor and it’s taking out a known wrecker from races before, who’s behaving the same way, for the people around me or behind so they don’t have to deal with the damage the player could cause.
On the corner-cutter front, I believe excessive cutting should be bannable also but unfortunately it’s not. It would be awesome to see these possible cuts taken care of but unfortunately that’s probably not going to happen either. Although, these guys will wreck you on their way to cutting corners so you can also watch out for that.

I think a good way to stop trolls is to bring back the vote to kick option, if a GT gets a certain % of kicks per week they get a 4hr (in game, logged into serveres) ban. If they repeat offend the ban time increases…thoughts?

Click on the persons gamertag and there it is

What if player x was winning every race and a group of trolls decides to all vote to kick that quick but clean player?
Sadly the trolls can find their way around many feaatures designed to deal with them.
In F1 2010 and in the original Horizon custom lobbies I was kicked a lot but it had nothing to do with me racing dirty because I didn’t.

Gr8 to know that T10 are doing something. My block list is still rising. Around 2000 and still counting.
I feel like a good idea to deal with trolls would be to have a 3-collision limit between other cars. I know it’s kind of oppressive, but at this point it is the only way to deal with trolls
I have played this game quite a bit (single player), the only thing preventing me from making Forza 6 my “goto game” is the fact that online is wreck, pun intended. I would love to be able to play online without the worry of someone purposely taking me out, or me taking someone out on accident and then getting attacked or reported. What is sad is that I know I’m not the only one who wants to play this game more, but I don’t want to invest the time on even one race, if I know some coward could take me out when I’m going around the last corner because he or she is in last and doesn’t care. This should be a non issue, period. I wouldn’t care if 90% of lobbies/leagues were races with the cars ghosted out, at least I know if I lose, it’s because I can’t drive. Not because a 12 year old that just got the game thinks it’s funny to crash people because they can’t drive or someone who has had enough of getting abused by others decides to turn on everyone else. This issue is killing the game and I hope that something is done soon. Personally, I feel like I’m missing out on a good portion of the game and I know I can’t be the only one.
Hopefully I haven’t offended anyone, because that isn’t was not my intention. I am simply just someone who has spent enough time reading these forums the last few years and wanted to put my two cents in. I really think this game is beautiful and I have played almost every other racing game out there (XB1/PS4 included). This game is by far the best driving game out there.

Whilst I agree that trolling should be dealt with I think you need to accept that no game can have a 100% guarantee that no one will crash into you ever.
There are also ghosted lobbies in the game.

@SatNiteEduardo- I never said that I expected for no one to hit me ever, I have raced IRL and online, I know it happens. Also, I’m well aware of the ghosted lobbies, but thank you for the mention/idea.
What I do expect, is a game in which you can play online and if people go out of their way to crash you on purpose, that the game will deal with it. That’s all that is expected and that’s all that can ever be expected, a safe place to game, drive, and co-exist. Right now, I don’t believe this game and the developers are doing enough to provide that experience in the online portion of their game. You can’t put out a great sim game like this, then leave it up to the players to police themselves. Unfortunately, there are too many immature people out there for that to be a reality. All I am saying and the majority of the community on here is asking for is more of an effort from Turn 10 to prevent this from happening. There are so many different policies, rules, and tools that could be implemented to prevent the majority of these issues, it’s crazy. I look forward to the day I come on here and see that something significant has been done to prevent these online issues. Until then, I’ll keep going after 100% completion on my career, I’m at around 60-65%.
