Tuning newb

Hi I’ve decided I want to learn how to tune, the only problem is I know nothing about tuning and don’t really know where to start.
I’m trying to build a b class grip car, I was just wondering if any of you guys could look at my current tune for my 94 fairlady z.
Here’s the current build
Everything in platform and handling is upgraded to race spec
Race tyres
Max width on front and rear
Sport transmission
Race driveline
Race diff
Forza front bumper and spoiler
Sport cams and valves
Race exhaust
Street intake

Current tune
Tyre pressure: 32 psi front and rear
Front camber -0.5
Rear camber 1.5
Anti roll bars front 25.82. Rear 15.41
Springs front 950.7lbs/inch
Springs rear 1001.9 lbs/inch
Ride height is as low as possible
Damping
Rebound stiffness front 9.5 rear 9.0
Bump stiffness front 4.5 rear 4.8
Downforce front 90 rear 185
Brake balance 60% front 40% rear
Differential accel 50% decel 50%

I really want to understand how tuning works I know this build I’ve got ATM is probably complete rubbish. Could any of you guys test it out for me and tell me any problems with it and how I could resolve them, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the world of tuning. It can be very complicated at first but with rial and error u can get a pretty solid base tune…

Your spring settings look really high so I would remove around 300 to 400 pounds from them. Run very aggressive camber setting around the 3.0 mark. Roll bars like that can work but I usually have them the other way around. Damping can be tricky but try starting with ur rebounds at 13 and your bumps at 1. Increase front bump if the rear isn’t gripping on corner exit under throttle. Brake balance I run at 55% on the scale almost all the time. For your different I would say a 30 Accel and an 8 decel.

That’s just a starting point but it should feel better… If your car is still really loose switch your front and rear spring settings.

Thanks for the advice I’ll try that out in the morning. My biggest problem was the back end coming out when I exit corners I kept fiddling around and that’s were I ended up, I just couldn’t seem to fix the problem. Hopefully I’ll be able to pick it up easier now I’ve got a base to start from.
Also do you put 3.0 camber on both the front and rear?

Front camber should be around 3. The rear can be much lower. Try to watch the telemetry and set the rear so they barely stay negative camber through the turns. For the rear end on exit, increase the accel differential. Start it at 100% and then dial it back as much as possible so you are still comfortable on exit.
