Tuners that specialize in stock drivetrain, mainly RWD grip tunes?

Hi

Are there any tuners out there who like to build fun to drive cars that maintain a stock drivetrain and can still be competitive against the “Unbeatable” AI?

Thanks

Stock engine too!

if it’s S1 I can share Diablo, XJ220 and F1 GT in some days’ time if u’re ok with that. They’re almost ready.
It might not be the grip tune u’re looking for though but rather the power/grip balance which I believe is best for online after grinding online for months. At least ~800hp or above.

Have a look at my shared tune list within the forums and I have posted a link for you to use below as well. I have a number of 100% stock appearance tunes. This includes stock drivetrains and engines. If you try them, let me know your thoughts.

I’d definitely like to give those a whirl. I checked out your Youtube page too. Is there any chance that your Evo 8 MR tune will be going up? It appears that Forza does not allow us to just search for storefronts so I need to know a specific car you’ve provided a tune or design for to access it. Is there something already up? If so, I will “follow creator” and keep an eye out for those.

I was excited to find such an extensive group of stock drivetrain/engine tunes that I went a little crazy downloading and hit the tune limit. UGGH!
Ah well, I have a lot of cars to sort through and test now. Do you gear high enough for Goliath or is there another track you recommend I test at?

Thanks

Search Rotary braaaaap and Lee20160506 for Evo builds. I believe they’ve got very slightly better tunes for Evo on power/handling tracks respectively.
I think I’ve only got 8 tunes online at the moment after deleting most of my outdated underperforming tunes. I will still upload more but tend to be at very slow rate.

Yes, you should be fine running Goliath with the majority of the tunes. Also if you want something, like a particular car tuned that I do not have on the list, just reach out to me. Glad I could help you out.

I got a Toyota gt86 that’s a class with stock drive train. I’ll upload it as Franco gt86 look for it.

Nvm I got to scrap it I can make it better in stock tires i bet.

That’s exactly what I do. I typically keep the stock engine and drivetrain in my cars, bit if I’m building for someone else as a request, I ask what drivetrain and engine as well as if you want a forced induction or not. I’m all about the preferences of the driver I’m turning for. Then after uploading, if there are any issues you have I will fix them. GT: DominicBourneLG

Thanks for the replies. I can’t wait to try all of your tunes!

PTG Jamie,

I’m still haven’t made it through the A’s, but here is what I have tested so far as I’m digging myself out of the tune data limit:
AMC Pacer
Alfa 4C
Aston DB11 S1
Aston Vulcan
Aston Zagato S1
Acura Integra
Alfa 8C
Alfa GTA
AMC Rebel
Alfa Milano Quadrifoglio Verde
Dodge Dart HE

You definitely have some very nicely behaved cars here. In fact, some of your chassis may be a little underpowered for the level of grip they provide. Precision Blast made a good point, I also prefer more power in the mix. I used the term “grip tune” rather loosely as an alternative to “drift tune”. They’re in reverse order of my personal preference with the Dart being the perfect balance of power and handling for my race (Goliath against Unbeatable AI grid of the same car). All had great handling traits, the Alfa Milano Quad Verde in particular exhibited excellent turn in and braking, the Alfa GTA brings an easy win while paying hardly any mind to the brake. The top 5 of the list may be setup perfectly for a short and twisty track, or perhaps the AI’s tune is just too much without the engine swap, but those 5 couldn’t keep up on the straights.

Well, huge thanks to for trying my stuff and providing me with feedback. I appreciate it and I am glad that you have enjoyed some of my work. I do understand what you are saying in the review. There are some cars that I went with the handling as the main focus. I try to provide a lot of different style of tunes for the public. Hit me up anytime if you have a request or something. That includes on FM6 and going forward into FM7.

I have RWD (Goliath) grip tunes for the Horizon Edition Viper and GT, both with separate setups for stock engine and the V12 swap. They’re not on my Storefront as of right now but I’ll put them up if you’d like to test them. To me, their tunes are decent for RWD. I say that because anyone can easily tune an AWD car (swapped or not) to have insane grip lol. However if you’d like me to set one up on another car let me know.

I’ve just picked up the Hot Wheels DLC (my first, so I’m new to the medal system, and my last forza game was FM3), and it came to my attention the requirement for RWD drivetrains as they often offer greater speed. Acceleration is almost always outright better with AWD, and there are actually a few cars that do much better with the swap… Ariel Atom comes to mind, as it actually benefits from the increased weight; and the Viper HE needs the AWD to push beyond 250mph. On the other hand… the McLaren P1 shines with a RWD setup, the Ultima is faster and handles better with RWD, as well as the 2015 corvette. So far I’ve only really tuned the P1, and I’m not sure if it’s even on my storefront. Getting the necessary grip is a little more difficult without all four wheels pulling at once.
