Like it or not, I suspect that although these two issues are different, they definitely have one thing in common:
They are tied to user accounts and not the hardware or maybe even the software. If affected users haven’t tried already, I’ll wager if they can access the game under a different user account, this event WILL work.
This other one’s been going on for over a year and a half with no resolution. (see link). I’m very curious to see if this new one starts affecting the same users in the future when they attempt similar tasks.
