While testing this fun car I noticed it’s plagued by fuel consumption issues.
It has such a high consumption rate that it barely makes the short races online.
In medium length races it has to refuel 1 to even 2 times rendering it useless.
And even in the short races it has a major performance disadvantage because it has to start with 100% load.
Thus, please bring its consumption in balance with normal cars.
Are you confused by the abbreviation time attack? It is probably worth considering that this car is designed for maximum weight reduction and the tank volume is reduced to a maximum and the fuel consumption is huge!
Playability should always be first priority.
Reality doesn’t matter in this game. We have race cars that can run over 70 laps of the Nordschleife without refueling.
When the Valkyrie AMR could run several thousands of laps it was fixed.
It’s annoying that it’s not usuable in anything but short races due to it’s fuel usage. Sure it makes sense make the fuel tank the size it is in the real car, but please also provide an option to make it a larger capacity…
Yeah, i was looking forward to giving this a go in multiclass but it’s useless due to the fuel consumption. It’s ok with race tires but there are far better S class cars out there and like you said, touch and go it will even last the full race.
The Furai is fun but it’s either P or X class meaning it’s no chance against the Ferrari or AMR pro. Lancer is also fun but again no chance online really.
The Pantera is ok i guess but nothing special. Not tried the Toyota or Mustang GT3 yet and i’m not really interested in the drift cars.
All in all, some nice looking cars but that’s about it.
Without the Ferrari the Furai might have been a contender because it has by far the best power/weight ratio in P.
Very nimble as well but the F1 ruins everything.
No aero Pantera on streets and no aero I6 swapped Toyota Tourer on sports were fine in B. Around 7:36ish around the Nordschleife which is nothing special but useful for Multi-Class.
Best “car” of the update seems to be the widebody '05 NSX so far.
I came here looking to see if anyone else had noticed it’s obscene fuel usage.
Since I noticed it while doing laps of Nordschleife in the new hoppers and it almost seems stupid to have a car which can only do 1 lap on a full tank of fuel, which atleast the other time attack car can complete 2 laps on a single tank even while being in P class.
