I would like to see a new upgrade added to the game, an endurance fuel tank. This upgrade simply makes the existing fuel tank hold a larger amount of fuel.
Why, you might ask?
Currently some fully upgraded cars (mostly cars that are lower classes stock) can only get a couple of laps in at longer circuits. For example, a dumb build I made for the Clio Williams upgraded to almost top of S (S777) can only do 4 laps of Le Mans or 2-3 at the Norschleife. (The driving style of this specific tune doesn’t help either, it’s nicknamed the Cliokhana).
I don’t see this as a bug as the stock car only has a small tank volume (just over 40 litres) and it’s making a lot of power from a small engine.
By increasing the volume of the fuel tank to around 75 litres (like mandated in the WEC) it will be possible to get more laps out of it.
In terms of stats, it should slightly lower the PI as a larger tank adds weight. The minimum fuel load (5% of tank) will also increase which further adds weight.
The tank can be offered at the Fuel System upgrades after the Race Fuel system (similar to Drift Suspension after Race Suspension), or as a separate part (maybe in the Chassis and Handling category?).

With the endurance races and long races added to the game, I think this topic deserves a bump.
In the IMSA GT championship some of the cars have a fuel capacity of over 100 liters. The actual capacity differs per car based on fuel consumption and BoP.
Maybe having a 75 liter option and a 100 liter option could be nice?
To this idea I would add a UI element that tells the player what the capacity of the tanks we already have is, hopefully in the Fuel and Tire selection menu in race lobbies.
