Tire wear and fuel consumption of "unbeatable" cars

They don’t seem to be in line with cars I’m driving. If I use the Nismo GTR or the Aston in the Modern GT for a race at any track where I need to pit for tires and fuel, the opponents in similar cars aren’t pitting. I’m going through T & F even faster in the 911 RSR.

I’m assuming this is across the board. I’m occasionally checking lap times during the race and they’re not going faster, they’re just overtaking me while my pit crew works as fast as they can. I’ve saved a couple of races to look at the telemetry of their cars. They’re not showing the wear or consumption to the extent my cars are.

I know T10 won’t read this, but hey guys, fix it. Oh, and while you’re fixing things, give the Drivatards of the opponents maxed-out PI. There’s no glory in a 900 beating a 854. Does anyone tune a 854 car? Not me.

I’ve done a few of the Showcase endurance races and they hit the pits at similar times as I had to. I was probably in earlier as my driving style is somewhat erratic so I know where my fuel and tires were going. Also to me the AI just seem to drive smoother for longer periods of time with periodic mistakes where I tend to get distracted and make lots of mistakes that I am able to recover from so I dont lose position, but its rougher on the car than a smooth lap.

Fuel and tire wear is also scaleable. You can choose how fast you want it to go.

Dark wing, how do you adjust the tire wear and feul consumption. I never knew you could do this.

I’m unaware of that too. I’ll go look but assuming I don’t find it, where can we look? It would be nice if like the Blancpain GT series there was a mandatory pit with driver change for the one hour races. Well, at least the mandatory pit.

It might be an option if I host a lobby, but I’ve never been a host. Yeah, PC has all the cool options. But the cars are nearly un-drivable. To be fair, there were when the game came out. I fought it for a couple of months as they went through endless updates and I gave up and sold the game. Then I bought a new copy a month or so ago and it has significantly improved. Maybe I’ll play some PC today after I drive about 250 miles in the real car. I’m taking my Audi to a tuner in Milwaukee for a chip update and some other fiddly bits. Real cars are fun too.
