Thrustmaster TX, TH8A shifter problems

So I have been playing with the wheel and everything was going ok but now after the update my shifter randomly switches gears and my wheel pauses the game or looks back randomly without hitting either button.

Also another issue I have is I use 2 TH8A shifters one for a ebrake and one for a shifter. I can’t use both at the same game because it reads both shifters as the same device.

All other games it works great. PLEASE HELP. I love the game but getting frustrated with these stupid problems. Making it unplayable.

Fixed the issue had to unplug the controller while I was playing with the wheel.

Did you ever get the two TH8A shifters to work (one for analog e brake and one for h shifter)? I’m encountering the same issue where it recognizes both devices as the same one (device 2). With one th8a controller configured analog e-brake plugged in, it registers it as being “toggled” at all times. This means that when I’m trying to remap keys, the analog ebrake automatically takes it and it registers as device 2 y axis (if i recall correctly). In game, it means that I can’t ever get off the line since the e-brake is “stuck on”. I’ve played with different USB ports and dead zone settings in game to no avail. Come to think of it, the issue may not be because there are two TH8A controllers plugged in, I think the issue is just that TH8A analog mode is not supported!

Bump…Can anyone from Forza staff confirm and look into this issue? I know there aren’t many that use two th8a’s at the same time but I hate to spend another $100+ for another type of analog hand brake just for Forza 7 if I don’t have to. Assetto Corsa, Project Cars (1,2), GRID (1,2,3), Dirt (1,2,3,4) all support this along with a t500rs without issue.

How do i get the game to recognize the shifter in the first place?

The controller isn’t recognized as a named piece of hardware. On the controller settings for t500rs, there’s a gear 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,8 etc…you can bind the th8 gears to these gears in addition to the hand brake (if you have a 2nd th8 on hand).
