I have the thrustmaster t300 ferrari wheel and pedals setup and it works fine however no real force feedback. The problem is the game isn’t recognizing my th8a shifter. I reinstalled calibrated but it’s nonresponsive. I’ve tried connection it straight to pc and the port on the t300. Please help. I am playing on pc.
I haven’t tried the PC version of the game, but you want to use the USB connection on the shifter for PC games, not the cable to the base.
Next, make sure “Manual with Clutch” is selected under Difficulty settings in the game.
Also, make sure you plug in the shifter before starting the game, as I tried plugging it in during the game, and it did not recognize it.
Thanks for the reply. I tried the suggested method and it’s not working. I Uninstalled the shifter and installed it again. My PC is recognizing the shifter and I even calibrated it. It’s still only allowing me to shift using the paddle shifter. The shifter works fine on my ps4. Not sure what the issue is.
Ah, I checked the PC support forum and it seems the TH8A is not yet supported on the PC version of Forza Horizon 3, although someone said it works in sequential mode only if plugged into the base. Strange. I’m sure it will be patched up, hopefully soon.
