Thrustmaster TH8S or TSS not recognized by game

I have a Thrustmaster TS XW wheel Thrustmaster T-LCM pedal a TH8A shifter and TSS handbrake mod attached to my Xbox X series. I use the Thrustmaster TM sim hub to connect both handbrake & shifter. I have a continual problem of the TH8A not being recognized by the game. This problem has existed for me since I purchased the wheel. Started with FH4 and has continued with every Forza game released since. I am normally able to get the TH8A recognized after some 15 to 30 minutes of resetting my console, de-powering the wheel, disconnecting & reconnecting the wheel controller from the console. Yet since the latest update the situation has worsened and now I am unable to get the shifter recognized in any of the aforementioned games. This is not a problem with the shifter as I can open any of my Forza Motorsport titles from 5 to 7 or FH to FH3 and use the shifter without issue. Let alone use it on multiple other titles including EA dirt, WRC rally, Assetto Corsa and Project Cars. To be exact I’m ashamed to say that this configuration also work with games such as Snowrunner, but causes frustration with a AAA title like Forza Motorsport. It is not a good advertisement for your future.

Is the firmware updated?
I have this exact setup and it’s all working fine

Have identified issue with this.
Put in race clutch and h shifter stopped working, without race clutch it works fine.

I assume because race clutch and race transmission would be sequential gearbox

I’m having same issue. Everything is up to date. Shifter won’t just won’t work. Test car 2018 Camaro fe. Settings are manual with clutch. Shifter is connected to din and straight to wheel. I’m not sure if this is a bug or if I need the Thrustmaster hub for multiple devices. Would be nice to have a shifter working. It does not try picking up the mapping going through gears.

If you have multiple devices yes it needs to go through the hub, however if you have pc it needs to plug directly to pc via usb

Make sure your clutch is registering full input, I just went through the same thing with dirt rally 2.0. I just pulled my pedal assembly apart and used compressor to blow everything out and clean it. Everything works fine now.

Clutch is working fine although I race with it turned off
