I’m really struggling with the transition from the controller to the wheel.
For instance on the Ferrari 458 on long beach cycled production race. I cannot make the giant sweeper at the beginning of the lap with a complete loss of control.
My settings: 900 degrees, TCS on, cockpit view. I don’t think I’m using any other assists or the wheels sensitivity feature.
I have the same settings as you - I’m guessing you’re sliding out as it goes round to the right? Less gas - feathering the throttle should get you round. Make sure your deadzones are all 0-100 in the advanced controller settings. Also bear in mind cycled production means all the cars are stock, which often leaves them harder to control than tuned cars.
Thanks TeamRadicus. I appreciate the advice. That is the corner that I was talking about and the 458 is especially hard for me to handle in it’s stock form.
I’ll open my deadzones right up. I may also try using the telemetry to see what’s happening. I suspect that I’m losing grip in the rear and then struggling to regain control resulting in a wicked tankslapper and complete wipeout.
I’d turn down the dor to 540 that’s what I’m running using an A class Ferrari cs360 no assits cockpit view
I also agree about the stock cars are hard to drive
I figured it out! I had to fight the force feedback to keep my steering wheel perfectly smooth and lift on the throttle a little. The steering wheel moving was enough to upset the car.
I’ll try the DOR at 540 too but I find that I do better in general at 900 degrees.
