Can anyone suggest a setting to lower for drifting? My issue is that upon countersteering under throttle the wheels ffb sort of locks and jumps from one countersteer position to the other. It’s very difficult to smoothen transitions from side to side like this, almost impossible.
What are your settings?
Very daft question I know. But. I have a thrustmaster tx leather edition, which thrustmaster do I select in the drop down menu? I see quite a few options all with thrustmaster tx in them.
On PC by the way.
Many thanks!
Hey Guys,
I bought a Thrustmaster TX leather Edition past weekend.
It is my first real wheel experience after playing racing games for about 30 years. . FM7 feels pretty good but I do sometimes lose the car in a really strange Way. When driving though a long turn suddenly some kind of oversteer applies and I loose the back end of the car. This while I am very gentle on the throttle and also on the steering input.
I also tried Assetto Corsa and Project Cars 2 where I don’t have this problem. I was kinda scared for Assetto Corsa but It actually gave me the best feeling and the most confidence going into turns.
Does anybody know what this can be in FM7? Is it a setting what might cause this?
my settings:
Steering Mode: Simulation
Deadzones: All standard
Vibration: 10
FFB: 75
Align: 135
Mechanical: 120
Pneumatic: 110
Road feel: 75
Wheel damper: 75
Center spring: 20
Rotation angle: 720
Linearity: 50
Xbox one X
thanks in Advance
You don’t need vibration, turn that off.
Wheel damper is also too high, half that at least or turn it off.
If you want the purest feeling of the physics, turn damper, vibration and centre spring to 0.
I know this topic might be dead… I have a tmx with only the 2 pedal atm but hoping to upgrade fast… But is there any decent tunes for drifting?
