Thrustmaster TX Feedback Problem

anyone else having force feedback problems? almost every 30 minutes of playin forza 6, my wheel will all of a sudden change all force feedback to turn left. so while turning left, all of the feedback forces the wheel to turn left. while braking, the wheel forces left, while accelerating, the wheel forces left. the only temporary fix i can find is to restart the wheel every time. this is only happening in forza 6. fm5 and horizon 2 worked with no problems at all. i hope there will be a cure for this soon

My TX seems to be working fine so far,I have the latest firmware updated from (early summer). My biggest issue is fine tuning DOR and feedback settings.

i am currently installing the drivers and update again. i have 1 other friend that had the same problem. thanks for the reply

I have had this same issue, I will normally have to go back to the wheel settings and check them and it will return back to normal.

Maybe it’s a game issue. I haven’t experienced this and I’ve played over an hour several times. Maybe try hard resetting your Xbox. That seems to cure a lot of issues.

Same Issue for Me Also

i updated the drivers for the wheel. must follow instructions carefully. i was able to race for about 30 minutes and had no problems so far and wheel felt even better, smoother. i will know more in the next few hours.

This happened to me in the demo once. I have the latest firmware in the TX.

exactly the same issue here! super annoying! literally requires me to restart the race/quit game for it to randomly come back to normal, managed to get it working last time by minimizing the game and then coming back to it and restarting! hope Turn10 sees this post as this is a VERY bad bug in my opinion.

Having the same problem here, latest firmware. If I pause the game then hit the guide button to go to the home screen, then go right back into the game it fixes it sometimes. It’s very annoying.

Same problem here, randomly during races the FFB will shift to the left. Going over curbs or hitting puddles when it’s like this makes it nearly undriveable! Exiting the race completely is the only fix that I have found. For some reason it will persist if going from one career race to another though.

Ugh, this is happening to me too. Never happened in FM5 or FH2. I played for about 4 hours and it happened 4 different times. Each time I have to exit the game and unplug/replug the wheel so it calibrates again. I can tell right when a race starts if its going to do it, when I shift my wheel had a very tiny jerk/vibration…

i finally had enough time to get some racing in and out of the 2 hours i played it happened 2 times… i really hope this is a quick and easy fix with an update.

Best setting BuzKill is to reduce FFB in the game menu… to 60/65 some folks even go to 55 but I found 65 works well for me. Next you have to set vibration to about 85 in game menu. All deadzones should be 0 - 100 Christian explained this very well in the sticky thread about wheel settings.

Next you must set the DOR on the wheel… to 900. You need to press the mode button and the D pad left. Watch the blinks every press… you need to see 4 green blinks. After that, you must set the sensitivity again using the mode button and this time the right paddle shifter. I believe I use just one blink although 2 may work for street cars.

Hope this helps… you can find other folks advice in other threads.

DOR OF 540 works great for me.Why do you have it set at 900. Some cars you will end up hand over fist turning the wheel to get it to turn all the way…At 540 you will be able to turn the wheels lock to lock with much less turning of wheel.

Sorry I failed to Mention I run in Game DOR at 720… not 900. I run the wheel setting at 900 for full lock and less sensitivity.

Hmm. I haven’t experienced any of these issues and I haven’t set up anything in settings, just plugged & played. Looks like the update cleared it up for you so that’s good.

I was not aware the TX had a firmware update. Is this the same update that was available back in June/July last year? (I checked their site doesn’t seem like a new update from this year) Unless, I’m missing the date somehow.

There is a new update from this year.I think its 49.1 or 49 but there is def one from this yr cuz I got my tx in march 2015 and updated to 48 and then went online and uodated to 49 last week.
