What rank were you @Maidoll in solo? The reason I ask is because I was rank 2-3 in solo and in my experience the vast majority of players were clean drivers. Very rarely did people drive dirty and when they did they were taught a quick hard lesson by someone more skilled. The high ranked players from FH4 promoted clean driving more so then anyone else. That’s fact.

Again I’ll ask, what rank were you in solo? I want to know if you’re going to make negative comments about ranked racers that are not true.
I dont get this much aggressive ramming in FH2-3

I am not saying “only grandmaster/ranked player” ram but the gameplay design accidentally change player behave like this across all mode
Because there is only WINNER but not care about this is a sport game there is no rule about clean racing
I’m speaking from real experience coming from hundreds/thousands of ranked solo races against grandmasters and other top players.
The issue with ramming has nothing to do with ranked racing and everything to do with how this game is designed. Stop misleading people that ramming is linked to ranked racing because it’s not!
I don’t play it so much, because it’s not like FH4. In FH4 I would do Goliath nearly every day on Unbeatable to build up my money, but now I can’t win the races so it’s not fun anymore. Goliath FH4 £120000, Goliath FH5 I get £80000, and at the same time I am getting annoyed at the Ai.

Nah. Most people race me clean or finish 10+ seconds back. Admittedly I don’t sit in lobbies for hours and hours but the races I’ve had are mostly good.

He/she was hit by a car going to fast to ever make it round the bend no matter what type of turn they took.
Position your car cutely and make them go the long way is one thing but that’s a calculated risk and often people run into you not even deliberately. Every situation is unique, but that’ll happen.

Everytime show clip you gonna say “it is cutted part not the truth” but it is impossible to have a record on every race in my life.
I am in the front choose inside line if someone underbrake he can choose outside. But now I have the line “I am getting in the way”? OK

I dont mean all grandmaster/ranked are dirty but there is No safety rating in this game.
In the front it is quite alot dirty play compare to the older game. (but I am not mean there are huge ratio of dirty player in high rank)
In FH5 is much better overall but there is still no system to guarantee that. Then someone gonna ram you out of cp/before finish line
Grandmasters are the cleanest, highest skilled players I’ve ever seen hands down. If anything they promote clean driving. Ramming on the other hand is due to how the game is designed such as no penalties, narrow tracks and poor match making.
What frustrates me is seeing comments like yours which helps to reinforce their decision on removing ranked from this game. It was an optional feature that some of us played this game solely for. It was an adrenaline rush. Extremely exciting and rewarding. And now it’s gone and is being labeled as “toxic” which is far from the truth.
I think grandma and other good players in youtube showing sometime it is not the case?
Basically this is like having Teamkill ON in a FPS game.
Someone are going to do something bad if there are no system to stop that.
Then you jump to argue you meet good player or something dont actually important.
(You have to know even living in different timezone/aera it may not have the same experience)
In Project cars 3 at launch I can randomly go into a room and there is full of clean racing.
I just explain why this happen but I am not fully suggest or agree fully remove ranked mode. Dont blame me on that.

How many times must I say ramming isn’t influenced by ranked racing. You’re taking about a game where the most popular mode is Eliminator which is solely focused on eliminating your opponent no matter what it takes. A game that has AI which literally rams you. A game which match makes newbies vs experienced players which is just asking for trouble. A game where you can literally wall ride and slam into the sides of cars with no penalties. These are the reasons why ramming is a thing. Not ranked racing.
And the devs already say it is toxic.

Yes indeed they do and they are misleading the community as to why they excluded ranked racing. I would take what the devs say with a grain of salt.
