If you are going to do it make sure you turn rewind off
Rewind wont work properly after about 5 or 6 laps…maybe 10 if you are lucky
If you crash press reset car instead

Warning: There have been many posts on this forum regarding long Goliath races freezing and crashing, causing players to lose their race progress. You’d be very lucky to even be able to complete an entire 50 lap race. This is why I never do more than 10 laps even though I love very long races. If you’re going to attempt a 50 lap Goliath race, make sure you go to the Difficulty screen to disable rewind, but even then it’s still risky.

I don’t think anyone has time to do a 5+ hour race in on sitting. I know I don’t.

Doing a 50 lap Goliath, as people already said is risky. There was a point before all the patches and updates when people were doing it easier. The rewinding was still risky but the race was more doable. Most of my friends did it. I never did. I have done a few 10 lap races and that was more than enough for me.
I also second everyone else on the rewinding issues. I used it during my first 10 lap attempt and never again.
Nowadays, I just do 3 laps on unbeatable difficulty with the Double Down perk because 500K in a single race is good enough for me but even that I find tedious. So I just race and not worry about money farming or crazed challenges because they’re likely to crash the game or corrupt a save.
