Goliath Circuit endurance race game freeze/unresponsive.

So today (30/09/2016) I was doing the Goliath Circuit race custom exhibition, I set the number of laps to 20 laps. after a very long time (3hrs 30mins) I finished the race however upon crossing the finish line something somewhat strange happened.

Instead of being displayed the leader board etc, the screen gained an insane amount of contrast and would not carry on to display leader board information etc. in the end i had to force shut down Forza Horizon 3.

If support or something is around can you let me know if i can get the progress I lost or not.

Thanks in advance all.

You won’t get progress back for a race freezing.

You deserve to have lost all the progress for doing 20 laps straight trying to boost like a mad man. The odd 1 or 2 laps now and again I don’t mind. But anyone sad enough to spend that long grinding gets karma like your game freezing.

If a race freezes it’s normally a normal exhibition with around 12,000CR and 10,000XP for example so it’s not worth Support getting that back for someone, so if you request millions of XP cos you sat down 16:30s each lap they’ll laugh their ass off at you.

What car was you using to do it in 16 mins anyway lol. I can do less than 9:30 in the One:1 and Centenario, even my Jaguar F Type done 10:30 and that’s S2.

So because you can’t be bothered to do the “endurance race” that other people do, they deserve to have their time made useless by not receiving what they grinded for? Wow…

Let other people play the way they want to, and go back to playing how you want to bud, mmkay?

Yeah, you’re not gonna get your progress back, that much is certain.

You have to admit though doing a 3 hour race is obviously outside of what the game is primarily designed to do so it’s unlikely to be fully tested. Not implying you deserve what happened like the above poster but there were definitely risks in play there.

Thank you for the civil reply :), I’m not really upset about the lost xp since today I’ve had nothing to do. I was just curious if I could get the xp and cash I would have got, oh wells.

I got away with a 10-lap Goliath race that took 2 hours and 10 minutes a few days ago. Based on the OP’s experience, that should be the most I go there, I guess…

I’ll try that next time when I can. Thanks for the rough estimate on the max laps I should do.

Nope, I just lost a 10-lapper last night, I wouldn’t risk long Goliath races until they address and fix the problem

Okay, maybe I just got lucky then…

Damn, Alright I guess I’ll have to wait it out then.

There’s doing an endurance race and then there’s “I’ll spend 3 hours on the longest track to get money and XP.”

2 laps in 25 mins is different to 20 laps in 3 hrs 30 mins. One is okay and the other is completely sad.

It’s boosting and that’s all it is. Anyway, enjoy spending your day tomorrow playing the same 15 minute lap to get your level up on a game cos you can’t do it legit.

I take issue with what you said. If YOU prefer short races, that’s YOUR choice. But I like endurance races, and that’s MY choice. What races I (or anyone else) do is none of your business. PLEASE don’t label endurance racers illegitimate, as I take offense to that.

How is it not legit? Why are you so salty? I don’t understand what your problem is?

I’ve also been doing the Goliath for extra money and levels and virtually every time I have an issue of some sort. Usually it’s Xbox completely giving out and signing me out near the end or the game locking up and freezing the entire console. I’m now avoiding this track at all costs and doing the 3 bridges route in the city instead and not had a single problem at all in the last 5 races.
