So the Nintendo Switch 2 is out, and selling extremely well. But that’s not why I’m posting this. As a ROG Ally X owner, the ability to play Motorsport on the go is pretty incredible. But playing it on the go, on Nintendo’s most blind accessible console to date, would be just magical. The ROG Ally can’t fit in my pockets, and carrying around a bulky carrying case isn’t practical, so the portability of Switch 2, along with its accessibility make it the perfect fit for Forza. Now, you might be telling yourself, but the Switch doesn’t have analog triggers. You’d be right. But Switch 2 does have mouse controls, and the ability to map controls, so the left analog stick could be used for steering as normal, and the right joycon in mouse mode could be used for throttle/brake. Which would actually work perfectly, as the l and r buttons are placed in such a way they’d be perfect for shifting.
But really, I just want to bring more awareness to the awesome blind driving assists in Forza, and Nintendo’s first attempt at adding a screen reader to the Switch 2.
