i noticed that too early on. i suspect there was some $$ in exchange for promotions etc. behind the scenes. there are just too many other cars in the game for this to be a coincidence
id recommend to anyone not to ever pick up this car ever. ive lost many, straight line, direct head to head races against the beetle in this. the beetle outperforms it on and off road
that is more impressive than winning in a beetle. real talk
The worst car that i have won eliminator is the lvl5 Desert Flyer few hours ago in an unexpected win in the highway with final destination in front of the stadium.
I have a soft corner for that car because that Porsche granted me 1st ever eliminator win. Now I am up to 24 wins in 210 games.

My first win was with the Exocet Off-Road.
Meanwhile yesterday i got a win with the Deberti F-150 which is the worst lvl5 car imo because it feels really slow.

…Tried again, but I still can’t get the accolades for the L8 & L9 car drops despite achieving the L8 drop several times in free roam. Also achieved several L8 & L9 car drops after successful challenges. The accolades are still unchecked so something is broken in my system.
is that the car that just shuts down completely when you hit a tree at high speed?

It needs ages to recover if you crash and it’s not the only one.

The Chevrolet Camaro should be removed from The Eliminator and replaced with the Chevrolet Pick Up Truck.
The Ferrari P4 should be replaced with the Ferrari FF (Ferrari Four).
The VW Beetle (Vocho) should be replaced with the modern FWD Beetle in a 53" Car Livery to better represent the EU and UK Region Gamers with some rust on.
Level Nine should also have the famous and WRC winning Hyundai WRC Car. Hyundai are brilliant in the WRC. The only longest standing manufacturer in the WRC as Subaru, Mitsubishi, Ford, Porsche and Nissan pulled out. Hyundai deserve some credit and their WRC added.
RAM Rebel TRX from FH4 The Eliminator should be carried over.
Cholla and all RWD can’t get up the Volcano. As usual the Audi RS 6 which won at the BTCC as the S4 but same drivetrain usually combats any terrains and is the safe car.
Logs need to be reduced as they send slower cars and keeps flinging sideways when in real life they would push through them.
It appears all racing video games are becoming anti gamers and anti entertainment. FH5 The Eliminator is full of RWD, Rocks and Logs. Trees don’t bother me as much. They would be easy to navigate without logs. Other racing video gamers favour RWD Regulations and Horizon 5 seems to adopting the same.
Need for Speed 2022 has Codemasters Devs and I last seen on YouTube the new NFS is having its own Elimination. With logs and rocks then I will shift to NFS and then they will take logs out as they will want their customers back.

Those logs around Sierra Verde + La Selva can only have been put there as an irritant for players, they don’t even add anything visually to the places they are present.
A Lumberjack skill isn’t much consolation for losing over half your speed + potentially spinning out in the middle of a H2H or final showdown.

Among rank 9 rally cars, the Hoonigan Cossie takes the crown. 225MPH top speed and still unbelievable offroad. #34 Beetle is probably the second best, good suspension and top speed. Fiesta GRC has a much lower top speed (180MPH) but it has the best suspension out of the 4. The Hoonigan Focus is the worst out of the rally cars imo, not saying it’s bad, I have 8-10 wins in that car alone. Really doesn’t matter which one you get because if you know where the final race finish is, you’ll probably win with it. But if you’re in a situation that you have to choose one, go with the Cossie or Beetle when available.
The Fiesta so far is my most successful car in number of wins so it’s my favorite!

MINI JCW → DeBerti F150 → Penhall Cholla → Ferrari P4 → Camaro ZL1 → Trackhawk

On the other hand 2 days ago i had:
Ariel Nomad (car drop) → Jeep Trailcat → Nissan GT-R → Hoonigan Group A → Hoonigan RS200
And with it i won the whole thing!

Hyundai are the only genuine car manufacturer in the WRC. Citroen and Peugeot are the same company. Peugeot were kicked out the WRC. Subaru, Mitsubishi, Ford, Porsche and Nissan pulled out the WRC.
Hyundai stayed. They have never left. They have completed every single WRC stage since the day Hyundai joined the WRC. They even won Subaru and Mitsubishi.
Korean cars are built by recycled metals from JCBs and Planes. Hyundai hand make their cars and components. Hyundai also have a base at Nurb 24 Hour and help keep the track funded as they test.
Yet still, they get no thanks, no praise and no congratulations.
Hyundai WRC car should be in The Eliminator to Eliminate the rest. It’s Mexico. The FiA forgot to attend WRC Mexico too. Hyundai didn’t. They went out first and left their rivals behind laughing.
i just recently started getting the Pro Truck again.
And I feel like they tweaked the strength of it - I can now win races which I previously could not.
