i think i know what you are saying. when i get a 1-6 car, i really dont care which they are because to me they are all the same and totally random. but as soon as i hit 7, 8, 9. i can definitly confirm times where i get, and i notice, the the ferrari, camaro, trackhawk, sequence all in a row. where as if i get a lambo or bronco, rarely do i ever get the Camaro there after. could be all RNG, but idk
How much has everyone gotten the Pro Truck? I’ve played around 140 games of the Eliminator and not gotten it once? Is there a specific path that leads to it, maybe winning with the Ferrari, which I don’t think I’ve ever done?
Usually get it or have the opportunity about 5% of the times I play. I end up driving it about half those chances due to the car the I happen to be in at the time.
I finally won with my first H2H race against Lvl 9 Ford in my lvl 8 Camaro !! How? It was on highway and no offroading. Same happened when winning in Ferrari SPA. You need to take road route but 90% of the time it’s not feasible.
I’ve had the Pro Truck maybe 10-15 times out of 500 games played. Terrible car and I try to challenge someone asap as there’s little chance of winning in one.
Just won an Eliminator in the Ferrari Spa. A level 10 Funco passed me but crashed giving me the win. Half on the highway then the rest mainly on open grass (fortunately).
i agree that dump truck is also a terrible car for level 8. its a bit peculiar out of ALL the cars in fh5 why they chose that one for the top tiers. its not even a game tuning\balance thing, its just that car shouldnt belong in that tier
Won 11 and here are my cars used to win
Hoonigan RS200 (Lvl 10) 3 wins
AMG One (Lvl 10) 2 wins
Funco (Lvl 10) 1 win
Brocky Bronco (Lvl 10) 2 wins
Porsche Desert Flyer (Lvl 5) 1 win
Porsche Cayenne (Lvl 7) 1 win
Audi RS7 (Lvl 6) 1 win
check out the legit best case scenario anyone could possibly get after upgrading to that disaster of a car that is the camaro
Haha nice
That Maserati almost ruined it for you
I suspect that was his intention but timed it wrong. lol
I don’t know which is the best car but I did manage to finish 4th in the starting VW beetle by just hiding and keeping out of the way of everyone. Lol
anyone notice how many FORD’s there are…
- Ford Escort '67
- Ford Focus 03
- Ford 2069 Bronco R
- Ford Focus RS '07
- Ford Bronco
- Ford Fiesta
- Ford Hoonigan
- Gymkhana Ford Focus
- 25 Ford Bronco
- Funco?
- Hoonigan RS200 Focus
This game has always had a whole lot of Fords, and it looks like we’ll be getting more Mustangs in the next update too.
Here are my favorite and least favorite from each level:
Level 2:
Audi RS6 '03 - Very good car for level 2, nice and fast, maybe even too fast for its level.
Ford Escort '67 - Very slow and just feels bad, even worse than Beetle in my opinion.
Level 3:
NOTE: I don’t usually get or care about level 3 cars, so these are based on my very limited experience with them.
Audi Quattro: What OP said, solid car.
Porsche Macan RR - Not necessarily bad, but all other level 3 cars are better.
Level 4:
BMW X5M - Pretty good, I’ve done fairly well in a Final Showdown with this car. Decent offroad and good speed.
Mini JCW Buggy - Why is this car so slow??? Really needs to be demoted, it’s good offroad but can even lose to the RS6.
Level 5:
Bronco R - Very good car, good offroad, good steering, good speed.
Deberti F-150 - This car too??? The acceleration is simply awful, if the finish line is behind you, the race is already over.
Level 6:
Audi RS7 - Very good car, great speed and good handling, not bad at all offroad. Easy level 7 if you get it anytime before the final circle.
Honorable mention: Exocet Off-Road - Very good acceleration, very good offroad (naturally), almost as good as the RS7.
Penhall Cholla - Not a bad car, but can spin out easily, especially with the PC lag.
Level 7:
Ford Bronco - Very good car, good speed, great offroad. Fairly small and very good handling, so good for dodging trees.
24 Ferrari P4 - Why do we have this car??? It’s horrible offroad and fails miserably at rebuilding speed offroad. Spins out when paired with the lag. If you get it, stay on the highway.
Level 8:
Tie between the Lambo Murcielago SV and the Nissan GT-R 17. Both are fast, with Lambo having the advantage there. The Lambo isn’t that bad offroad, but the Nissan is better for that. Both are good cars overall and can win you the whole thing.
Honorable mention: MG Metro 6R4 - Great acceleration, but terrible top speed. Good in final circle with short races (especially that volcano spot), but not what you want for the Final Showdown.
Chevy Camaro '17 - Horrible car, awful offroad. Your only chance with it is the highway. Needs to be removed from the Eliminator.
Level 9:
Gymkhana Ford Focus - Very good car, small, fast, good acceleration and handling, even better than some level 10s.
Jeep Trackhawk - Same problem as Mini, way too slow for level 9. Can barely beat level 7.
Level 10:
Hoonigan RS200 - AMAZING car. Extremely fast, small, extremely good offroad AND with handling. Best car in the Eliminator, if you get it, you’ll most likely win.
Funco F9 - Very strange car, requires some skill to handle (which I don’t have lol). If you have that skill, it can be the best car for you. High top speed and good offroad, but that handling! It’s terrible! Also does wheelies far too often, try to get another level 10 if you get it.
I think what I’ve seen/learned is that some cars are “bridge” cars - the Camaro is a way to a level 9 (if you can win); the Jeep GC Trackhawk is a bridge to 10.
What really screws you is when you go down an upgrade path that sucks - i.e. Maserati (5) > Penhall or Nomad > Cayenne or Ferrari > 37 Pro 2 Truck or Camaro…
I always go for the higher class car even if i know that is not the best choice in order to increase the chances to reach the final race with higher class car.
I just got my 10th win with the Trackhawk and it was the first time i was driving it in almost 130 games. Surely not a bad car even if it feels slow for lvl9 but probably worths to upgrade from most lvl8 cars.
Honestly I think the mini should be an alternative starting car, it’s absolutely awful!
…Oh, I dunno…
Hate the Mini. Agree it is almost as bad as the Beetle.
Just completed all Eliminator accolades. Good riddance.
Has PGG fixed the glitch not recognising L8 & L9 car drops? These are the only ones I have left but despite getting at least 3 x L8 and 1 x L9 drops none triggered the accolade. These were done prior to the most recent update, but I’m not aware it’s been fixed.
