Alright. This will most likely not be very useful to someone that did a lot of this (Eliminator) game mode but for someone completely new (like myself yesterday), it could work as a nice guidence sort of. I’d also like to point out that this is my personal opinion so yours may differ, but like I said, for someone who doesn’t yet have an opinion I’d think it could become useful.
This is just something I threw together quickly today while ranking to Tier 25. I didn’t get to try all the cars but most of them.
IMPORTANT: To clarify the picture below, I made it keeping in mind both color (the lines I made above each car) AND tier. So for example, I’d swap a Tier 6 Green car for a Tier 7 Green car. But I’d not swap a Green Tier 6 for a Yellow Tier 7. If the tier difference is 2 or more, I’d probably swap a green for yellow though. Rule of thumb, off-road > road racing cars. Generally speaking. Also, I avoid the Red cars at any cost.
Some notes on the noteworthy Tier 9/10 Cars.
~Tier 9~
#2 Audi S1: Nice for off-road, although feels a bit weak (power).
Acura NSX '17: Fast if you’re on asphalt. Kinda a bit all over the place once you go off-road though.
Aventador '16: Same as above, although I’d take this over the Acura.
Ferrari GTC4L: Didn’t get to try this one but I’m not holding my breath. Probably on par with the previous two.
Funco F9: Crazy. Sadly a bit too crazy. Very powerful but I wish there was proper off-road tyres here. Feels like it has at least 500 HP too much so go gentle on the throttle, else it will spin out. Very fast acceleration though. And once it starts going, there is no stopping it, except for trees…
Lancia Delta S4: Solid off-road. I’d take this over the Audi S1.
~Tier 10~
#37 Pro 2 Truck: One of the best vehicles. Personally I found it to be a bit too bouncy, due to the very soft suspension. Good speed and grip though.
Austin Taxi HS: This one is like the Funco F9 minus the spinning/bad grip. Crazy fast acceleration and even works nice off-road. My second-to-go pick on this list.
Aventador '12: Not impressed. A better version than the sports cars on Tier 9 but same thing really. If you’re on the highway and the destination is along this road you’re in a good spot but most likely that won’t be the case. Works okay if you get to go in a straight line over a meadow I guess…
Hoonigan Group A: Easily the best car I drove. Speed, Acceleration, Grip. It has it all.
M-B AMG GTR: Didn’t get to try, most likely similar to the Avendator '12.
Enjoy !
