Eliminator crashing issue is addressed in the Series 19 content update on March 28th:

• We’ve made improvements to alleviate the crash rate for head-to-head races in The Eliminator and Free Roam.

We’ve made improvements to alleviate the crash rate for head-to-head races in The Eliminator

Oh really? Well whoopee doo, you don’t crash out of the game anymore.BUT what happens now is you get challenged but don’t get put into the h2h,whilst the challenger does get into one. You have no clue you are in a h2h until about a minute later when you are eliminated.

This fix is more annoying than the bug it replaces, as it is just cynical incompetence by a team that are not up to the job.

I was playing the Eliminator, when I soon realised that I couldn’t race anyone as whenever I honked my horn nothing appeared above people’s names to challenge them. However, I was eliminated because at some point, my honk registered with another person, but not on my screen. I had no route and no idea that I was in a race with another person. I have included a video to help but I don’t know how useful it will be as it is mostly just me having fun as I thought I couldn’t be eliminated. However, …
