Updated title based on other people’s feedback. My initial post as follows:
I played 1 game of eliminator post patch and encountered no issues.
I challenged and beat 12 cars. I could see everryone on map and could challenge everyone instantly with destination shown immediately.
I had no issues racing to final point and winning either.
It’s alot more fun without the bugs.
With the exception of hackers with modded beetles that are faster than the normal beetle, yep, it’s fixed.
Wow so does this mean the problems were not mainly cheaters…
Yes appeared to be fixed but I still get challenged by invisible players. Just wait long enough, it’ll happen.
Yes, when I played last night it wasn’t fixed. I had another almost invisible lobby, and the two players I did find, I couldn’t challenge.
Based on my handful of Eliminator rounds post patch it’s not fixed. Seems like I can see more other players, but not all of them, and challenging others (vice versa is probably the same) is broken.
Just played again. Definitely still broken, many times I couldn’t challenge anyone. I just won a round though. Got to the flag on the minimap but couldn’t find the destination, I think I was over it in a tunnel. Then the game just fast travelled me to the finish line which was weird, and I won. Very strange.
Another annoying bug still present: the accolade for getting a level 8 car still doesn’t work! I got another level 8 car in this round and checked afterwards, still no accolade. Must have done it half a dozen times now.
That accolade is for grabbing level 10 cars.
Yes, it is written wrong. You have to grab level 10 cars
You can’t say it’s all fixed based off 1 single game.
How many? I’ve already driven level 10 cars several times.

You are right, that accolade is for level 8 cars and I completed it.
The only attempt that you can try is to pin this accolade and play an eliminator with that accolade pinned seeing if it unlock when you grab a level 8 cars.
In other case in order to unlock some accolade I had to pinned it. Try it.
Here… I just did it. It doesn’t work.
I will but I know I’ve had other accolades which I pinned and they still didn’t unlock previously.
FWIW I have got a level 8 car in all 3 possible ways: winning it from an opponent, upgrading from level 7 to 8, and getting a level 8 car drop.
The other day, I got the level 9 Rahal Letterman Fiesta from a drop & then beat a rival to get a level 10 buggy.
I’ve also previously driven the Gymkhana 10 Escort, but I still haven’t been awarded the accolades for acquiring a level 9 or a level 10 car.
I’ve currently got a support ticket open.
I just played a round, saw no one else throughout with the exception of an arrow pointing to another player on the minimap early on. I got challenged by two other invisible players and won (?) against them, with the destination being only a few hundred yards away. I obviously couldn’t challenge anyone myself.
Then in the final race I “won” the entire Eliminator as if there was no one else around – I wonder if everyone who was left “won” as well.
It’s crazy how different bugs seem to effect different players. Even if the game is pretty messed up, you cant beat consistency.
I’ve actually managed to finish off all the accolades for the eliminator thankfully.

This was on the Xbox series X with a regular controller.
I did manage to finish in 14th place.
For the 11 millionth time, can you shrink all messaging that blocks your entire view during eliminator? Its quite annoying not being able to see where you’re going. Puts us at an extremely massive disadvantage!
