The Differential Glitch

People are using the ebrake for understeer heavy cars. Same thing thing occurred in FM4, especially for the Alfa stradale. Its hard as hell to do right but I know first hand it has been done to get #1s and other top times. It can help shave a small bit of time off the lap on problem corners.

Everything else you said was spot on.

Also, speed runner, if the person is in rwd and is intentionally letting the tcs kick in, then they aren’t driving right and are losing time in the process. You can get away with letting the tcs light flash in lobbies though since the best possible lap isn’t necessary.

So what are the quick drivers meant to do? If I read your post correctly you expect them to put a bad tune (in game terms) on their car to slow them down.

Well as I said in another thread stick everyone in a stock car that is not tuned in Forza and the same drivers will still be multiple seconds ahead.

In short you are basically calling all tuning in Forza a glitch.

I guess ARBs of 1/40 are a glitch and 13/1s on damping are a glitch.

Don’t know exactly what class track you are talking about so im going to guess its a D/C Class thing… havent really gone that low very often, especially when hotlapping so im guessing this is where you are referring to. However, couldnt this be bypassed by tuning?

Drag tire minis. And not really due build. Same was for Alfa in FM4 because of build restrictions. I’ve only heard of three people who could do right. I tried it and it works but its hard to time it right without upsetting the car.

seen and used the e-brake for tight corners on cars with drag tires. primarily due to the poor grip level and the thing just wont turn.
Yes, #1’s have been set using the e.brake i have witnessed them.

Regardless of any e-brake use in #1’s LB times there is no Differential Glitch. People need to stop blaming glitches for them being slow.

A mate of mine always blames glitches or hackers if he doesn’t win in an online lobby. The best remark he has made yet was that the guy in first place hacked his brakes and that’s why he didn’t win!

Lol, thats quality. Im going for that line next time i get owned. Then message them and ask them if they cut my brake pipes

And obviously block and report them as is what everyone else rightfully does

This thread got even funnier, I didn’t even think it was possible. There is NO differential glitch, at all. Never on all of the Forza’s. I think this has become more or less about people getting flogged by 10 seconds a lap online or on the leaderboard and then think they’re cheating. They should look at their replay then watch number 1s and see what the difference is in lines are. It’s a big shock to the system.

There is No diff glitch, infact some cars are better with the stock diff fitted…The main problem is the tyre choices/rally engine combined with tcs, basically meaning that you can crawl through the corners and then blast down the straights, and on the longer tracks this can cause the pi system to look garbage at best…But saying all that it still takes skill to drive these cars, the lap times dont just get handed out in luckybags …

lol

FM6 Collectors Edition includes 3 luckybags.

Here I was thinking you did get your laptimes in a luckybag. Man was I wrong

Well, I did find myself a good Diff setup for my AWD cars. Try it if you wish
Front: 65% Accel/0% Decel
Rear: 75% Accel/15% Decel

Stop glitching with your zero decels

And 65% front, thats not normal, must be a glitch
