I don’t frequent the forums enough, and I haven’t even raced online in f6 yet, so I’m just checking to make sure I’m not wasting my time with this tune. I’ve been spending the last couple days tuning and turning laps on a D400 A110 and have set some (what I believe to be) respectable times hot lapping. Couple top 50 in country and very low 100s overall on tracks like Catalunya school and short and Le Mans Bugatti to name a few. Considering I’m not what I would call a top tier hot lapper, I’m begging to wonder if the tune is a glitch or if I really did a good job with it. Any mumblings about this car being like the minis and the mazdas?
Let me check others. My top speed hasn’t changed. Doing Cat short I was hitting around 116. I’m not sure what the glitch does or how it even works (nor do I care to know).
Top speed only went up 5 mph when I did it but if I remember correctly once you add the diff the 0-100 dropped 5 seconds. The car should accelerate pretty hard in 2nd and 3rd gear.
Afraid to say you got a glitch, as soon as you do a drive conversion, then add a race diff, your stats improve without any PI change. Me and a few friends found this was a problem on nearly all pre 1990 cars, and some younger. Personally not touching rivals till this is fixed, as it is a problem with over 30 cars that I know of. Expecting a leader board reset in tuesday. Least there better be, lots of people waiting on it.
People might assume this a glitched car as is a know to be one. Turning down the diff will cancel out the glitch or adding heavy/big rims. At the moment the Leaderboards mean absolute nothing even in unglitched cars because nobody is trying set any times.
