The Differential Glitch

Ive been accused of using the “differential glitch” by several people. Im not aware of the this glitch, and was wondering if anybody knew any
thing about?

Never heard of it

Well , that explains the 2-3 second s a lap difference when we race. Even though we use the same car. Lol

If your faster than me, you must be cheating

Honestly though, never heard of any such thing, and hope if someone here has, they don’t publicise it.

I think its where you actually tune the differential correctly

Differential glitch? LOL new to me as well. What could be gained from a glitched diff anyways?

Never heard of it but I would take it as a compliment. Always loved being called a glitcher/cheater by others lol

Sounds boring “differential glitch”. I want to know how to do the flying car glitch as I’ve seen in the lobbies. Nobody going to beat a flying car.

Anyone know how to do that?

Mate my internet is slower than a tortoise on a good day.

Not really into the ol Forza any more. This game was a real let down, so I’ve jumped over to PC and doing the iRacing scene and also Euro Truck Simulator 2 has its quirks!!!

Will talk,talk broadband do?

The Differential adds nothing to the PI and no change to the weight. It can be added and even with the PI and weight locked down in the lobby no one will know you have added it (and adjusted it). If all running identical cars in a series like the Mazda MX5 Cup for example there will be no knowing it has been added.
Set the lobby to stock upgrades and tuning so it can not be used but then no tuning on other parts will be allowed either…

Hi fella the diff works by locking the axle and spinning the wheels together or can be independent most high performance cars will use a setting of or between 35 to 50 top 10 to 15 below setting, this you have to play with as cars do vary . Setting the diff up correctly does make a difference but its no glitch, I am no slouch but there are still drivers faster than me and that goes for all sport it doesn’t matter how good you think you are there will always be someone better . Its not all about balls out speed it control and hitting the apex right, slow in fast out dude hope this helps

ok I am not a tuner, but I know guys who are and know there stuff.

the diff glitch is referring to the fact that the diff can be set outside the normal ‘real world’ tuning parameters for a performance gain. typically those tuning this way don’t make any mods to brakes or suspension (or very little), pushing all their mods into power increase. in so doing they appear to circumvent the game physics. they tend to be slowish off the line until the diff kicks in. Cornering is usually achieved via the handbrake losing the back end then the diff and tcs catches the car and whips it through the bend. their other preferred choice is to run up the inside and ricochet off the car in front through a corner.

There are always going to be drivers faster than me, I know that. it nice though, to race on a level playing field. Quite where someone can race, be ten or more seconds a lap quicker than the rest of the field and gain any enjoyment from it is beyond me.

Your friends obv have no clue what they are talking about. Do not listen to that.

No such thing as dif glitch. Only add a diff because it is free and properly tune the dif and it will give you the proper off throttle response and on throttle response you are looking for…

BTW using the ebrake for a corner is never a good idea unless you are drifting. By the time you are done sliding around the corner when using the ebrake i will get through the corner, around you and be partially down the straight away and you will be trying to get the car to catch grip again.
