Just a bigbigbig thank you to Turn10 for allowing us to choose for long and extra long races in the career.
This has been for me the most missed feature since Forza 3.
Because Forza 3 was the last edition to really have endurance races in the career roster.
So I’m very pleased to see it return and to step away from the unrealistic supershort races.
Big thumbs-up.
I agree, this makes for a far more enjoyable and realistic race as it’s no longer a mad dash to try and get to first place in 4 or so laps.
Yes, yes, longer races deserve a very big thumbs up!
2 lap races forced me to race much more agressive than I like to drive - with having 5-7 laps I can drive in my style. Big improvement, it’s good to have it finally.
I’m doing the whole career as Long and feathering the throttle off-line at the start of each race so I drop to the back. I count to 10 and then start racing, it’s fab!
I’ll only allow myself ‘clean’ overtakes, giving the place back if there is any more than a slight tap.
