It’s good to have Daytona back. I haven’t had a chance to delve deep into the update but noticed that you guys reverted to the proper sound for the 812 Superfast, one of my favourite V12 Ferraris to drive, so thanks!
I did, however, noticed that there is a pause or hiccup between the gear shifts, almost as if the engine sound cuts out for a quarter second (chase view most noticeable). Isn’t this car a dual-clutch flappy paddle trans? It’s supposed to be seamless with no pauses.
Also, the textures on the cars are popping in and out of view during replays - e.g. shadows around the bumpers and lighting/shadows in the car’s interior as it comes in and out of view in replays.
Was hoping to have this fixed too.
Anyhow, thanks - looking forward to many more fantastic updates
This is the death knell for the Forza Motorsport franchise.
All the casual users that could have become fans, have been turned away from this franchise due to the horrible mismanagement.
Who is going to come back and play future itterations of this franchise, when the initial experience has been so bad. Instead of making fans they have pushed away those who could have been endorsers for the game.
I tried to play for the first time in three weeks. I shut it off in disgust. Had a crappy car that had no points and no level and drove so bad. I’m not going to subject myself to torture, when I want to play a game for fun.
This game is pure trash.
I guess its very funny to play the infield track with that wrong pitexit T10 provide for us.
And on top of that the AI can’t behave right if lapped because the AI just doesn’t know if they are on the leadlap or not.
I guess this is also very funny in extra long custom oval races.
IMHO a copy/paste Daytona without correction of pitexit and AI just doesn’t make sense.
It’s more like T10 gave up all quality standards…
there is nothing to thank, because this update also contain only minor bugfixes.
There wasn’t any fantastic update since release and there is no fantastic update at the horizon anytime soon…
Regarding whether the AI knows if they’re a lap down or fighting for the lead - there ain’t no blue-flaggin’ in NASCAR. If you want to pass, find a way. Rubbin’ is racin’!
