T10 needs to stop this "1 update per month" nonsense

It’s not good enough to only do a single update each month when you have a game as broken as this is. There should have been multiple updates since launch. We shouldn’t have to wait for new content each month just to get updates that should’ve been released as soon as they were ready to go. Especially when those content updates contain even more bugs that make existing bugs worse. Replays were at least saving even if they don’t work. Now they don’t even do that.

EDIT: Yet another update that has broken the game even more and you can guarantee T10 will not release another update until the next content drop in a month’s time. How can anyone at T10 or Microsoft think this is acceptable. It’s not. The way things are going the game will be a 100% broken and unplayable mess before we get the Nordschliefe. That’s if anyone is even playing it by then. Player numbers have clearly dropped since launch yet neither Dan or Chris have shown their faces to address our complaints.

They sugar coat it with a new track and cars, which also should have been in at launch and then make out that they are doing us a favour by fixing stuff. They seem to live in they’re own Forza bubble where we should be thankful for there efforts for a below par product.

Didn’t you read the Top Gear interview? Everything is going according to plan. There is nothing to see here. This is the way it’s supposed to be.

With like 3 bug fixes a month, I don’t know what will they patch more frequently. Looking at the tiny amount of fixes I think T10 had a massive attrition post release.

I don’t mind the content patches with new events and tracks once a month, but the game really needs optimization patches for PC, and making the players wait an entire month to maybe see a tiny improvement in performance and bug fixing is just disrespectiful.

Chrismas period, we are lucky if we get updated. after comes easter and summer…hard times, hard times.
For a Game born to be FLEXIBLE, this is annoying.

It’s ridiculous that I have to switch between the xbox and PC versions depending on what I want to do. If I want to race online I have to use the xbox because the PC version gets constant disconnects (no other MP games on my PC have problems). If I want the top end graphics I have to use the PC version but when I do that it usually glitches out and stops rendering the track…

This is the most incomplete game from Turn 10 to ever be released and it sucks so bad because the actual driving is fantastic. They release 1 update a month when there’s so many bugs and incomplete.

Then they drip feed content in the game where there already is very little content. Mind you this isn’t a FTP game and cost 100 bucks for some. not cool Turn10.

Blame forza horizon. That game gets alot more attention so they are all focused on the cash cow. They need a separate studio for motorsport. Theyve clearly forgotten their routes and just want to entice the casual players who dont give a dam about circuit racing and wouldn’t entertain gt or touring cars as they arent 10000 horse power. This is why gran turismo has leaped far ahead of forza, as the gt devs didnt dump all their budget on a game to entertain 8 year olds

I love Forza Since Part 1, with all its highs and lows…but this is a MESS.
With my sons R9 390 and an 3570k, i can play the game flawlessly. (1080p, Low Details and 50-60fps)
With my rx6800 and an 5600, this game is unplayable. (disappearing Textures, CPU Bound, extremly stuttery, also the FFB … )
Its a farce and a big Joke T10.
A 1 Update per month attitude in this unplayable status is unacceptable. I have no hope that this game gets playable before mid 2024.

HOW DO WE GET COMPENSATED FOR THE MISSING CONTENT AND REWARD CARS WHILE WE CANT PLAY THE GAME ??

I’m with you on this man, as are many others I’m sure. This is becoming a cruel joke now. They ought to roll out fixes every single week. If not then at least on a bi-monthly basis.

Bi-weekly, I think you mean, and yeah, I thought that’s where this was going to be for a while after the initial round of updates. At this pace, the game’s going to die out before it gets completely fixed.

2 weeks since the last update and still nothing.

A two-week patch cadence can sometimes cause more problems than it potentially solves, unless a team is properly structured for it. I’ve seen studios try it before and struggle as a result.

Given that Turn 10’s got issues with a 4 week patch cadence (due to how broken some aspects of the game still are), I don’t think slimming down to a 2 week cadence (which in turn doubles the work load on release management and first party teams) is the right approach here.

All we should really hope for is that the current 4 week update frequency allows the team to implement bigger fixes, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

If they insist on 1 update per month then they need to do content updates separate to bug fix updates. What’s the point of releasing more content into a game that is broken without fixing what is broken first? It just causes more issues that makes it harder to find. Fix what’s broken first. Then worry about new content. Above all else though Chris and Dan need to address the community in the next Forza Monthly and provide a roadmap for how they intend to fix and evolve the game. 3 months since launch and they have been AWOL. That is simply not good enough.

It’s the Holidays.

Guess T10 have been on holiday since it launched then.

I’m sure they’re busy fixing bugs. But I’m not so sure whether they’ll add some worthwhile content soon. The Career mode is very lacklustre. All the cut tracks and cars are a shame too. I hope they get added back soon. If it continues this way I don’t see how anyone is going to continue playing this game, especially the Single Player mode. FM9 better not have a live service model then.

There isn’t going to be an FM
9. This is a live content game which means tthey constantly add content. There will not be another one after this. That’s what Dan G said.
