I’m very happy with it, sure its got it issues but knowing T10 they are silently watching these forums and the net in general and working on the main problems.
After a little tidying up I can see this being the most popular Forza since F4 . Will it be to everyone’s taste ? No of course not but then nothing ever is.
People post up saying the community wants this the community whats that but what they should be saying is “I” . Speak up yes but speak for yourselfs not for all of us.
The little bugs don’t bother me to much T10 will get them sorted they also do, missing features or added features are what they are like or dislike it will not make a difference the game is what it is, a driving / car game aimed at a very wide audience not the niche market.
But it shouldn’t be to a wide audience and feels like a slap to the loyal fans who have played and put endless hours in to all the forza games, like I have.
I mean removing the car class lobbies, rivals and leaderboards is bordering on criminal.
The MP at the moment is pathetic and don’t even get me started on the car division tier structure.
They have got to change it or many of the loyal Forza fans like me will not play it as why bother?
i love it one minute then i think its a step backwards from forza 6. im really dissappointed that the gaps are still in feet and not in seconds, as this is a norm in every motorsport on the planet. come on t10 change it to secs. and as good as the wet looks is sooo unrealistic being able to drive on the same tyres as in the dry, you should be able to make pit stop for wet tyres
As a PC gamer this is the first Forza Motorsport game I am playing, I bought Horizon 3 and loved it.
I find Forza Motorsport 7 awesome, there are some bugs but I see they already know about them and I am sure they will be fixed soon.
The only thing I find a bit disappointing is the Forza Motorsport 7 VIP but oh well.
Oh and I really hope they will add the Bugatti Chiron and Bugatti Vision GT soon, it looks like they are in Gran Turismo Sport so it would be a shame to not have them in Forza
I don’t understand the hate. I’ve been playing since Forza Motorsport 2. I’m not crazy about the VIP changes, but that isn’t a deal breaker. I like this game. Good job Turn 10!
I agree and I am amazed at the great engine sounds along with the turbo whine. Also the tires sound is spot on. I enjoy the graphic details in the many environments and the car detail is second to none.
For me, the car physics are spot on.
Great job T10
-improved physics: more progressive grip loss and regain, better feel of weight transition. Good simulation of wet road surface.
-improved sounds: more wind and road noise, better feel of speed, more immersive.
-improved controls: all Forza games were comfortable to drive with a gamepad but F7 is even better. Precise steering and braking is easy and intuitive. You fight with the car not with the controller sensitivity!
-improved lighting and shading, nicely done weather effects, beautiful sky-boxes.
-improved AI
-adjustable race length
-homologation / division system for more balanced races
-possibility to make setup choices during the loading of a session
And many more. Now the game maybe feels a little bit rough by the edges but I think it doesn’t need too many fixes to make it perfect - well done, T10!
Gotta admit I was thrown off by the homologation and the 32gb update but after realizing that the homologation on the cars cost nothing more than buying the car itself how could you not like that free upgrades! You can still buy the cars without homologation, no idea why you would You can still change the upgrades so cool feature as far as I’m concerned. All of the online private lobby features from FM6 are now in free play such as division restriction player buckets grip handicaps all awesome. And the feedback with a wheel OMG it’s on another level racing and drifting are both wicked fun on my g920 now. I’m not even going to complain about a couple of bugs I mean what game has launched free of them?? There are that many turn 10 staff helping everyone I’m sure they’ll be fixed in the next week or two with an update like every other game as far as I’m concerned forza 7 is awesome I don’t see myself putting it down for a while.
I’m fine with what i got.
It needs some patches. Not the first or last time a Forza game needs some but Forza 7 is far from being broken.
I like how to progress in career mode, new and fresh and different from previous Forza (i didn’t want another Forza 6,5,4 or 3).
The only 2 things that i don’t like, are not enought tracks with rain/day/night (it should be available on all tracks and randomize in career mode) and the hud, the colours chosen on speedmeter (orange instead of red) and split time ( blue instead of green/red) aren’t great. It makes me feel that this hud was made for Horizon 4 but not for Forza 7.
And pit stop for tyres (dry/wet) should be an option and added to the game.
Other than that,i’m fine and enjoy it.
