Notes and Tips:

If your Festival Playlist is showing already completed or old events, the content update may not have installed and you will need to trigger the installation by rebooting and looking at the Updates menu (dashboard or Store).

The developers are aware of crashing issues with the new update and are working on it. “The current workaround is to take your console offline, launch the game, then re-enable online via the Xbox Series X/S dashboard.” “DO NOT attempt these steps if you’ve already deleted your local save. This will cause you to lose your progress and start the game from scratch.” - @Forza_Support

  • UPDATE: A hotfix was released on May 7th.

PinkiePie4997, are you on Xbox One X or series X / S?

SeriesX

Thanks PinkiePie4997 for your reply, just trying to determine if it’s worth switching my Xbox One X on, considering the problems that have been reported! (P.S. Have as yet to snag a Series X).

It’s working on the Xbox One S, my series S is sitting useless though since the current workaround involves starting offline, preventing the game from syncing data, which could cause me to lose 2+ years of progress.

Sweet! all we have to do is 1 championship for the Jeep and done!!! Awesome

For those who are doing the trial the Ferrari 166 isn’t a requirement. I ran the Austin Healy Sprite and won pretty easily. I chose a tire compound upgrade since there are two circuits but I ended up winning the sprint by a good margin. My “Road” tune is shared but there are several out their depending on your driving preferences. It’s cheap for those not wanting to spend 6.5m credits or use an untuned rental. Good luck!

Edit: Don’t forget the Porsche 550 has 200k and 2 wheelspins for 24 skill points in the perks

WhiteBurrito42, are you Xbox One X or Series S/X?

Xbox 1 x

WhiteBurrito42, thanks for your reply, much appreciated! Did you have any problems after the update?

No problems, it started fine and no disconnects in the trial or games. I saw comments about it breaking for some just as mine started installing so I was a bit concerned. All is good for me but I feel for those with issues. Have you tried yet?

New series, but somehow everything feels as I’ve already done it.
Starting with trial and those C 600 Micro-Mayhem cars.
Well I simply reused my Ferrari and easily won all 3 events, team was also good, finished 3:0
Ferrari 166MM Barchetta, tune - 103 399 439
or Austin Sprite Mk 1, tune - 112 032 718
or Lotus Elan, tune - 415 993 059
or maybe Mini Cooper S, but I have a feeling that one would be too slow for this - 698 116 404

Solo championship also reminded me, why I have my second F-150 Prerunner set to some strange S1 802 tune … this why
Cross country racing with S1 900 extreme offroad … 1200+ HP … no thanks, my normal A 800 tune with slightly wider front tires, also does the trick at S1 802 and can actually be driven, not just random high speed accident. Drivatars match your PI, so its no problem.
Ford F-150 Prerunner DD, tune - 865 382 630

To next championship and more cross country racing, now with A 800 heavy hitters, well Prerunner weighs 2.7 tones and fits in just nicely.
Ford F-150 Prerunner DD, tune - 795 974 100
or Jeep Wrangler DD, tune - 756 246 482
or Top Gear Track-Tor, tune - 108 868 608
or RAM Power Wagon, tune - 178 446 995
or Ford F-150 Raptor '17, tune - 194 358 364

Last solo championship and its dirt racing with D 500 classic rally cars … Mini
Mini Cooper S, tune - 596 082 441

PR stunts and again nothing new here, so Koenigsegg Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 for danger sign and speed trap, used Hoonigan Ford RS200, tune - 428 155 751 for speed zone.

Weekly forzathon and its rally monster time … speaking of rally monsters … Hoonigan Ford RS200 is that, so
Hoonigan Ford RS200, S1 900 tune - 545 011 302 (or S2 998 from PR stunts), not much to it really, just a bit of time and done.
And if somebody still didn’t grab one of those awesome machines, Hoonigan Ford Escort RS1800, S1 tune - 151 786 541 should also work just fine.

Weekly Super 7 is still working for me and this time its Ford #5 Escort RS1800

Finishing pic

Hope this is of any help to somebody, take care everyone and as always … have fun :), bb

I finally risked loading the game. XBox One S started normally.

Another series of re-hashed events, shame.

Looking forward to the Citroen though.
