Summer #Forzathon Shop, Festival Playlist events and Rewards through May 13

Neat. More content to win and not receive. This should be interesting. These are all fairly simple events.

My game loads in without issue, but when I do so, I get a completely different line-up of events and cars. The Forzathon shop is the same, but all of the daily, weekly and monthly events as well as their rewards are different. Any ideas?

There is a possibility that the update has not been applied.
Please check and apply the update from My Collection(Xbox One) or Store App(PC).

Thank you. This worked, but I’m not sure why I had to manually start the download when it’s done so automatically in the past.

It was the same with my Xbox One…I loaded the game when the update first appeared and all the social stuff was greyed out (AH, Club, Rivals etc)…I had to go to the update area on my Xbox to see if there was an update and then click it to get it to update

Oh my…I really need to leave the Trial till later. Did it about 30 minutes after the series started…myself in a 600 PI Elan and the other 5 drivers all in the hire car!!

We won the first event pretty easily so I was feeling optimistic; race 2 was a disaster…I won again, the other 5 came in near the back. So, to the final race and I was determined to finish just because…it was nip and tuck through the entire race and, when I crossed the line (in first again) we were losing…by the time the finishing positions page showed up, someone had quit and it resulted in us winning!! Really was a rollercoaster!

Well my trial team also consisted of 2 rental Ferraris (and 2 tuned). They did well, one was mid pack, other near last, but not last.
Had one person in Porsche 550 that could keep up with me (sliding all over the place though), but I’m not sure why they left after I passed them in second race (did dive bombed me on start to get into the lead, almost pushed me past checkpoint), DC or somebody trying to be funny … not.

Update for series was a bit late (maybe 20 hours before series change), so that might explain some problems people have, with game not updating on time

Does anyone know the weight minimum on Heavy Hitters off hand? I’m going to tune something and go for min weight/max power…

Heavy Hitters are model based (check 2nd post), not weight. As long as you fit in required class you can lighter any model as much as you want.

It is weight based actually, I was quite surprised. Check my post from a few months ago, it’s like the fourth one down

The support page ( https://support.forzamotorsport.net/hc/en-us/articles/360005371633-Car-Types-and-Themes ) lists 4400 lb but I thought I saw something somewhere that didn’t end in 0.

Who wrote this?? Have they played any Horizon game for more than 10 minutes? Skill chains have been the same since 2012, that’s 4 games now guys come on. Plus the article says ‘Updated’ so god knows what it was like originally. I just find it odd, did the people who programmed the 4465lbs/2026kgs thing lie and say it was 4400lbs? Did they not say anything and other people just guessed a figure that seemed close enough? Why are there several wrong skill definitions? I appreciate these are not big things like game breaking bugs but good lord if I had made this game I would want to make sure at the very least all the information on my own website about it is correct, even if I messed up with some coding and bugs or whatever

If you look at the bottom of of that Car Types page on the Support site you’ll see I wrote the list - on the forums years ago when I was trying to give the best information I could by without any official info. They then lifted my posts to create the Support pages. I’ve been after them for years to publish the ruleset the developers themselves coded into the game (Auction House limits etc) without much success. I got the Heavy Hitters wrong because I just didn’t have the time to work out the number. Plus I did indeed forget the previous conversation on this theme. I’ll update the list in post #2.

Damn I feel bad now, I nearly wrote something like ‘unless Max wrote this in which case I ain’t mad we love you’. But this is my point, even with articles written by people who just love the game (please correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember reading somewhere you are not an official playground/turn 10 member), even if the information isn’t entirely correct they just take it and slap it on without bothering to check if it’s right or not, and then not be interested in publishing anything ‘official’. I hope this didn’t come across as an attack or anything, all your spreadsheets and weekly posts and stuff are awesome (seriously I love a good spreadsheet, I’ve made a few myself, but lord I wouldn’t have had the patience to write some of the ones you have), especially if you are not paid to do it (again not 100% on that). If you are not paid then you really should be. If it weren’t for you and kudosprime personally Forza wouldn’t be anywhere near as enjoyable. I would pay you myself if I had money lol

I don’t think they know how the game was made, they probably sacked the person that made it.

Anyone remember racing the devil car on Ridge Racer? Lol! That was me in a Mini in race 3 of the trial blocking a train of Ferrari’s to seal a 2-1 win. :sweat_smile: Only 1 team mate could drive and thankfully also picked the Mini and we nicked it. I won race 1 & 2 but drivatars had taken a 1-0 lead as a slow coach in a Ferrari kept failing to finish. Race 3 the other Mini took the lead and looked good so I stayed in second and made mine wide as possible blocking a sea of red!
