Stuttering when smashing cacti, cones and fences (PC)

(English isnt my first language so sorry for any inconvenience)

Bug Info: When i crash into said objects (not all destructable objects), i get a stutter for a split secound but its so prominent that after a while it really infuriates me. I noticed that in The test track this doesnt happen for some reason. (Have to test further)

Platform: (Windows PC (windows 11))

Edition: (Premium)

Account: (solo account)

PC GPU: (AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, Driver: Adrenalin 24.9.1)

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x

Settings: (graphics at Max everything besides Raytracing: off, but issue also there on minimum settings)

Attempted fixes: (Contacted support with no anwser in over a week, Reinstalled the game, tweaked settings (graphics), tried rtx on and off both same issue, repaired the game in windows settings and also reset it, run as administrator, restart game and pc, other GPU (RX 6600 XT))

Content Update: I think it was also prior to the current update but have only just begun playing the eliminator, and in this game mode the bug is really anoying while in a race trying to navigate through the jungle and hitting little trees causing the game to stutter is a huge disadvantage

I have heard about a fix that goes like this: A solution for stuttering related to destructible objects involves deleting certain game files. Try navigating to ForzaHorizon5\media\Physics, opening the SmashableObjectTypes.xml file in Notepad, and removing its contents. But wouldnt that be considered as manipulating game files, thus resulting in a ban? and also could this mess with the game itself?

These two are the closest ive found to my issue but im not on steam.

Still no reply from Support. (reported 11 days ago)

I figured out, enabeling A-XMP in BIOS has made an improvement but still the issue is prevelant (havent tested with new Update yet)

what cpu you got?

or if you havent tried, maybe put a fps limiter on, idk if it would affect something like a 7900xt

Ryzen 7 3700x

Its always locked at 60FPS with V-Synch on

that should be fine with that cpu, i have a i7 3820 and it does fine

60fps with a 7900xt.

oh hell nah

and 1080p i guessing, unless you at 4k

4K tho

k…

maybe the cpu has a unstable current (voltage, mhz or something

How could I test that?

have you monitored that?, could also be the temp

idk specifically, but you could get a monitoring software and check it

HWmonitor is good, MSI afterburner is good for if you want to see it while in game

I have just changed thermal paste 2 days ago. Temps are at 70 degrees celcius maximum. Also just disabled my OC on my CPU (automatic OC in Ryzen Master)

Thank you very much i will try with HWinfo first and will update this topic.

np, good luck

I tried HWInfo and everything seems normal.

Will try MSI Afterburner next
