I pre-ordered the ultimate version of the game and was able to play from the 28th to the 30th, after these dates my game just got stuck in a loading screen after the splashscreen when clicking enter to continue. I have tried reinstalling the game with no succes. Video for proof
Switch to another game just to refill the xbox memory. Then go back and start up as normal. xbox one seems to have a memory-problem
Oops forgot to say, I’m playing on PC so this probably won’t work.
Update: let the game load for about 5 minutes and got an error message telling me there was an error and to try again later.

PROBLEM FIXED FOR ME
I had an issue with the in built Microsoft anti virus where it said I had a problem and it needed to restart.
After a restart Horizon 4 loaded and now plays.
Worth a try for anyone else using Windows Defender.
my friend is having the same issue but im not i have no idea how to fix it
Same issue here. Yesterday everything worked fine. Store page in Microsoft won’t open either. Earlier today the game wouldn’t let me go to Horzion live because of parental controls (never changed anything, don’t have them activated either).
Same here. game was fine yesterday. Get home from work today and it hangs at the end of the loading screen after I hit continue at the main menu.
UPDATE: I figured out the problem. A guy posted his fix on here and it has to do with too much RAM being put on standby by the game. I tried his fix and my game loaded in fine…
You use that program and click empty standby while you’re in the loading screen but before it hangs.

Playing on X-1 Game Pass… Infinite loading screen on the first street race using Subaru STI.
.I have a problem with forza it launch but when i press enter to get in the game it says to me an error has occured please try again later can someone help me to fix this problem (btw i bought today ForzaHorizon4 and this was the first time launched it and happened that)
I had the same problem with both FM6 and FM7. Was stuck on loading screen and could not enter the game.
The solution for me was the following:
-Log in to X-Box live
-Open Powershell, and run this forumlar: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
I had this problem to and tried everything in the end the only thing that worked for me was (Windows 10) to go into settings then select Apps under Apps and features find Forza Horizon 4 and uninstall the game after this you will have to go to the bottom left of your screen and use cortana search bar and type in microsoft score, then right click this and go to app settings and scroll down to till you see reset function and then reset this app. After this open app microsoft store you will have to sign in again on the account you have forza horizon 4 then simply reinstall game and run. This actually worked for me nothing else did. YOU HAVE TO DO BOTH STEPS IN THIS ORDER OR IT WILL CONTINUE TO NOT WORK!

Restarted, currently on the KB4497935 build and I can install and play FH4 now.

In my case I had already uninstalled the game. I installed it again and it worked, I’m playing.
