What difference does it make whether it’s an Intrepid or a Charger? They’re identical under the skin. The NASCAR Intrepid had zero in common with the street Intrepid.
It doesn’t seem out of the question. I also have high hopes for the return of stock cars because anyone that follows Nascar knows Dale Jr. actually Just became a partner to Microsoft, who knows? maybe his car will be included in the game!
I guess we will have to wait and see. I’m super excited to see that Daytona International speedway will be part of the line up this year.
+1 on wanting a return of stock cars to Forza.
I’ve been in online stock car leagues in FM4 and GT, and I hope they include them this time…ESPECIALLY with the addition of Daytona and Watkins Glen.
Inb4 Turn 10 screws up stock cars. Again.
Maybe if we’re lucky we’ll get a Forza Garage reveal where we see a 2015/14 stock car as well as a classic stock car to race with ![]()
If Turn 10 include some NASCAR’s in Forza 6 , I hope they include some from different time periods , ranging from the 70’s to the present . Even if there is only a small representation of 2-3 cars from each period . I mean who wouldn’t love hooning around Daytona or Watkins Glen and Lime Rock in any number of cool rides from Dodge Daytona’ , Plymouth Superbirds , Ford Torino’s and Mercury Cyclones thru to the late 80’s early 90’s Monte Carlo’s , Ford Thunderbirds , Buick Regal’s and the odd Pontiac and then into the current Generation 6 spec cars .
Just a thought but fingers crossed
Fingers crossed indeed!
Still waiting…
I’m thinking Sprint Cup cars might be their bombshell to drop when the game hits launch to surprise us all.
I mean, last time it was an F1 car, so now they need something to match that kind of reputation. Plus all those liveries would help fill the gap of 50 new-to-forza cars that have yet to be revealed. ![]()
Don’t count on the liveries. They won’t get the license. Nascar has given a license to DMi. I can’t find whether it’s exclusive or not, but I’d bet it is since they gave an exclusive license for consoles to EA and then to EUT. I just want the cars. They can be in bare metal form in the game. People will make their own liveries.

Gran Turismo managed to license the full grid in both GT5 and GT6, so I doubt it’s exclusive, unless whoever owns the license suddenly decided they don’t like money anymore. ![]()
Of course non-livery versions are good too, but liveried versions make it easier for Turn 10 to populate the car list, like they did with Formula E.
Stock cars were a blast in fm3-4 are we going to see a return of them in fm6
I hope so, but more than anything, thank you for not calling the NASCARS…
Don’t think they can get the Gen 6 cars but the ones from FM3 would be nice for a start.

I have not checked the car list but if the montecarlo SS from fmh2 is in the game it’ll make a nice vintage stock car. So with the charger Daytona
I still reckon the Microsoft partnership that’s led to sponsorship on Dale Earnhardt Junior’s car could lead to something. Microsoft being a partner of Lotus led to us getting the E21 in FM5 and the E23 in FM6, so we could see something similar with the Microsoft and Hendrick Motorsports partnership.
I’m still hoping for NASCAR Sprint Cup stock cars, but I don’t dare to be too optimistic.
Either way, I plan on recreating at least one Sprint Cup paint scheme from every single full-time team (car number) from the 2015 season. Until the car list is complete, I can’t say for sure which cars I’ll design on, but it WILL happen. I hope to be able to share at least one design per week - in no particular car number order. Which paint scheme from each team I choose to replicate won’t be revealed until I actually share it.
I’ll probably start with the teams I have already designed in earlier Forza games (HMS and SHR), but after that, it’ll depend on what feels right at the time.

Can’t wait to see your Gordon designs on the sharefront and run it around Daytona!

Excellent! I really enjoy your paints. It would also be fun if we could come up with a loosely organized “club” to race the few ovals we have using some kind of common or predetermined cars (e.g. Camaros, Mustangs, Chargers) with some open source tunes so the spec is close. Might be fun to come up with a plate race formula for Daytona. JMHO.

I’ll be happy even if it’s just Dale’s Chevy SS.
Just give us a blank car from a racing team and we can make the car any manufacture we want.
But, just imagine night racing with no lights with a 900hp turning left monster.
