First I wanted to apologise for my bad English
Recently, I purchased a new Moza R12 base.
And I started testing in all the games. And the worst of them was Forza Motorsport (8). Surprisingly, even in Forza Horizon 5 the feedback was head and shoulders above.
The problem is that: When you turn the steering wheel to any side, it immediately pulls there and there is a struggle to get the steering wheel back. And the input data always falls off. And the game does not transmit any information about the skid at all, there are no curbs at all, except when you hit the grass.
I tried all the guides in the interns, none of the methods helped. And I wonder, is it just me?
I have FSR and RS V2 steering wheels. Games I tested: AC, ACC, F1 20, F1 22, FH5, AMS2, DR2, ETS2, ATS, Dakar Desert Rally and Project cars 2.
I would describe it this way: the control is similar to when you are riding a bike and trying to level it so as not to fall
The FFB in FM is alot more detailed and responsive than in FH5, you just need the right settings. It can be tricky, as some settings are mirrored to FH5.
I’m using a Thrustmaster TS-XW,
Try these:
The Overall FFB Force should not be set above 130, because of clipping, you can lower it as far as you want though.
Put the Vibration Scale so that it is noticeable but doesn’t override other forces.
If you want to make oversteer more responsive then increase Pneumatic Trail Scale.
If you want to make understeer more responsive then lower the Mechanical Trail Scale.
Only change the values 2 to 5 clicks at a time.
Considering the R12 is a direct drive base, you might want to increase the Wheel Damping Scale.
DISCLAIMER: These settings work best with GT cars, so don’t be disappointed if you get into a road car. I would suggest you to refine these setting to your favorite car type as the FFB in this game is a little different for every car.
Don’t get frustrated, it is not just you, I needed weeks until I got my settings right. The standard setting in Forza Motorsport are extremely bad.

Sounds like you may need to invert the FFB. This is necessary with some wheel/ game combinations though I don’t know off the top of my head how (or if it’s even possible) to do this in FM23.

There’s a check box for it in the settings.

I couldn’t get my wheel settings right for months didn’t even like it, couldn’t catch a slide to save my life. I watched hokihoshi on YouTube tuning guide.
I can’t even race controller anymore and I just have a crappy g920.

The solution to the problems was so simple that even I am ashamed. You should have just turned on “Feedback Inversion”
Thanks!
