Imagine if that happens in real life… everytime a manufacturer comes out with a car better than all the other cars it just gets banned. We’d all be driving ford anglias if thats the case. The world can’t move forward with that kind of backwards attitude.
Really harsh in the first place that the online ranking system is unfair and rigged (if you start 12th you are already 3 seconds behind the leader at the start. It is impossible to carve through the other 12 players and then close the 3 seconds down in a 2 minute race). Plus you are constantly battling with people who have an advantage of steering wheels and sim handling which again is just simply plain faster than any controller can be.
So people find the best cars in the class to use to help them beat the system and they just ban them from use. Talking about the bone shaker and tractor. Every single racing game always has a best car for the class. Because every form of racing in real life has better and worse cars that are more suited to the tight regulations. However fair and even you make the classes someone will always win. Look at balance of performance in GTLM in real life.
T10 need to know exactly the same thing will happen now they have removed them 2 cars. One of the other cars in the class, the previous 2nd best car, will become the best. So will they ban that car as well? Eventually they will just simply progressively ban all cars from online. Plus these cars were not OP either… ive played douzens of online adventures this month b4 the car ban and there was always a mix of people in the top 3. Someone in a B class fulvia using sim handling, a high-end pc and a steering wheel could easily beat someone using a traktor and a controller… banning certain vehicles from certain game-modes is just wrong. Totally wrong. Banning ferrari, red bull and mercedes from F1 would not stop the domination of F1 by one team… its a ridiculous concept. Think of all the hours people have spent perfecting their personal tunes on these cars and then they simply remove them from online use.
I’ve put in a lot of hours to the game the last month - after these vehicles have been banned I’ll only be doing the essentials 2 get the exclusive cars next month - T10 probz dont care but this is defo one player they have now lost from their online community… rant over
I doubt you’re going to find a whole lot of sympathy here. The cars in question weren’t just better, they completely broke the class system so that you had to run them to be competitive. It’s no different than if they would have allowed one specific A class car in B Dirt lobbies.

Well lets start in real life and lets take F1 for example, from history of F1 there is multiple and multiple times where system that some team is using is being banned because it was too OP. In gaming nerfing something is really damn popular so why would forza being different and let the OP cars be OP? PG is gonna ban every car from online, well not gonna happend because after cars that are stronger than they should be in that PI are gonna we have working PI system where multiple cars are competive.
Steering wheel is so op that controller cant beat that? No it’s not you would be suprise how many top players use controller, damn even one of the best horizon players use keyboard, steering wheel dont make you fast, driving skills make you fast.
Someone stop playing because cant use most OP thing dont forget somebody else may start come back playing online because those two stupid thing are gone.
There’s a difference between OP and strong. Those two vehicles were flat out OP. Anyone that says otherwise is butthurt because using those vehicles were fairly easy wins abd podium finishes. The amount of acceleration they had for their PI value is just wrong. Maybe PG will tweak it and make them inline with where they should be and bring them back. Until then, they don’t belong in ranked adventures.
Stop whining. Learn to adapt people…jumping in those 2 cars was too easy. I have 3 Shakers and never use them on or offline. Its hard not to believe those same folks who only used those cars in ranked will probably not be as successful now because they cant build something competitive. At some point a new car will rise to the top but it probably wont occur for some time. I just got extremely sick of seeing a room of 12 people and 8 players using the same OP vehicle. There’s no way to have a chance unless you pick those cars, it was unfair.
For those of us that were still winning at a decent clip while not using those cars will probably win a whole lot more now because we already have a set of cars that could steal wins against those cheat cars. Shouldnt be difficult at all to rise to the top of the leagues now…
As V12 and LOL WTH said there is a big difference between “a good car” and the Bone Shaker/Track-Tor. The latter singlehandely prevented the usage of other B-class cars because it was simply too overpowered.
With them gone the pool of usable cars grows quite a lot. There will still be better and worse cars but the gap has become smaller. A good thing.

Driven by two players on a comparable skill level this would not happen. The Track-Tor was incredibly overpowered on most tracks. Leaderboards don’t lie.
I liked the B class when the Track-Tor wasn’t in it because i had a Lotus Elan tuned perfectly for it that won nearly every race online. The Daytona though used to beat me if driven by a good driver. Glad it’s been banned as i may now go to the online races and play B class again.
With watered down “spec” racing that we are left with today this doesn’t happen these days. Back in the day this used to happen quite frequently to Porsche. Nissan has also had a car that was banned for being to dominate. So yes, it happens in real life too.
Just expecting they will do what they said on previous stream and wipe all scores of those cars from Rivals. please don’t xxx this one PG, do it to the end, for once …
That doesn’t follow. I can win without it, but still don’t want it banned. (But that battle is now lost. I just hope PG sees sense and lets us use it in playground games as there was no good reason to ban it from there.)
If you go back and read the original post, the guy complains about how hard it is to struggle back from starting positions farther back in the grid, and how hard it is to compete with people with ‘better’ control setups.
So yeah, it sounds like he needed the OP cars to win. It’s right there in what he wrote.
No, the OP was probably a filthy sealclubber that is now crying because he can’t spank 99% of other cars with minimum effort anymore.
The Track-Tor and Bone Shaker are B-R-O-K-E-N in their class and that’s a fact. It’s sad it took PG so long to ban the BS as it was breaking the A800 adventure since the day it came out.
That said, I’m not a fan of banning cars, they should’ve just nerfed these two to hell. Especially the track-tor shouldn’t be more than a lol car for forzathons - give it some sick power, make it do wheelie etc.
Bravo on use of the term Seal clubber ! … I have not seen this term used in a driving game before only in PvP Shooters where OP ‘clubbers’ would spank the whole field without a scratch …

The whole idea of the PI system is that two cars with the same PI rating should be competitive with each other. PI is supposed to rate performance.
When one car can outperform another in all categories at the same PI level, clearly something is wrong.
I’ll be the first to blame PG for messing up the PI system. AWD is to cheap of an upgrade, and tire compound is overrated while tire thickness is underrated. There are probably other imbalances that I haven’t picked up on as well.
But now that the system is in the game it can’t be changed (or else everyone has to retune all of their builds, and that will really tick some people off). Retuning the PI system is a solution that just isn’t going to happen, at least not within Forza Horizon 4. Maybe it will be better in 5.
Banning certain cars is a worse solution, but it’s the only feasible one we have for now.
