Sign up today and get the latest Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport news delivered to your inbox every month.
We know our players like to keep up with the latest events in the world of Forza across a variety of sources, from our official social and community channels, in-game messages and livestreams to our blogs here on Forza.net.
Today we’re adding newsletters as a new way to stay up to date with everything related to Forza. We expect to deliver these around once a month via email, and they will feature the latest news from our game teams for both Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport, all in one place.
Sign up at forza.net/newsletter and if you later decide that you no longer wish to receive these emails, there is an option to unregister at forza.net/myforza.
We plan to send out the first newsletter soon. Once you’ve read through it, if you have any recommendations on how we can make it better and more useful for you moving forward, you can share that feedback with us on the Forza Suggestions Hub.
Interesting idea, hope you get decent uptick on this.
Will there be unique content or is this more of a roundup of communications elsewhere?
Personally I’m not one for email, but if such newsletters were posted in the Forza Discord, in an announcement channel that other Discord servers could subscribe to, that would be a plus.
Interesting demographics, I voted that I’d wait and decide later just to see the vote count. Voted here and in the FH5 forum. FH5 has a 50% yes vote. Here there is a 53% no vote. Does that tell you all something about the two games and the player satisfaction?
“News delivered to your inbox every month,” but “we will commit to publishing quarterly updates like this one to let you know where we stand on items the community is passionate about?”
I’ve signed up. Hopefully it’ll be a way of summarising the important bits of information and maybe a few extras or deeper dives. It’s hard trying to keep tabs on the topics on the forums, especially as most go off topic straight away. I also don’t follow all the potential sources of info such as twitter so the letter should help.
Wow how the tide has turned. The FH5 side is almost a dead heat at 33% across the board. With I’ll wait taking a slight lead at 38%. This side still going strong for “no thank you please, it only makes me sneeze, and then it makes it hard to find the door”.
Doesn’t sound like too many people want their newsletter. I think if you did a poll here Max you might find more people would just like some community involvement right here. Maybe some more forum presence than just a quarterly "We are listening (not really) but this what we’re (not really) going to do smoke screen. Some real conversations would really be nice. It would sure help to squelch the majority of the sarcasm and ill will that has built up over the past few months.
Let’s be honest there’s not much info to notify us about and it will just be a spam of advertisements and lame advice nobody asked for as seen in FM game inbox, Xbox feed, Forza youtube channel etc. The issue is a lack of information, not a lack of channels to receive it.
T10’s communication problem is not about reaching the customers.
Or just suprise us with a newsletter containing some deep info about what was going wrong during the development process in the last 6 years, what exactly happened and when the devs knew that they had to release a mess. etc.
and I subscribe to the newsletter in notime…
but the usual “latest Forza game news” we already get from the Forza Monthly stream, our influencers on youtube, here in the forum and in the ingame inbox etc. Everybody interestet in Forza News know where to look.
IMHO a additional Newletter don’t make much sense.
I voted yes as I don’t want to miss out on any news. I so want this game to be loved by everyone. I’m hoping we get deeper information on the future of Forza
I’m interested to see what the first one is like, but if it’s just fluff or info I can get anywhere (ie, should be here) I’ll unsubscribe in an instant.
