I don’t know if this is already a feature but I’d like to suggest that there is some kind of indicator that a car is upgraded or tuned in the Car Menu. It would also be helpful if you could filter for cars that you upgraded. I have quite the tough time figuring out which cars that I have are vanilla or upgraded. Or is this just me?
That’s why I paint all my tuned cars gold. Well one of the reasons at least.
Well, I wouldn’t want to do that. A simple filter would suffice for me. And I think that’s nothing that can’t be implemented easily. They already did for duplicate cars.
Hahahah you must be new around here. Changes like this take years, decades, sometimes centuries.
Well, that’s a good start. When I think about it now, they took a long time for the duplicate filter already, so I guess I gotta be patient.
This is not really necessary. Forza works with PI points to rank cars in different classes. So if you need a certain car you can filter car classes to see all the cars eligible for that race. And after a while you know which cars you modified and which you haven’t.
If I tune or upgrade a car, I do it always to the PI Level D500 C600 B700 A800 S1 900 S2 998 or XXX. In that way I always know which cars were upgraded or not.
Did not work of course for every car, as some have to stuck to uneven PI levels for the lack of fitting upgrades.
I think, pgg or t10 could easily use the so called upgrade filter for bodykits or predefined tunings as placeholder for the tuned cars. I won’t miss these pre-tuned presets. I think they were introduced in Forza Horizon 3 - most of the cars now didn’t even have a widebody kit anymore and the classic musclecars with their universal alternative hoods did not need that filter as you can choose the car type for that listing.
I know some players who don’t care for the PI levels but wanted to realistic tune their cars after real variants of the car with a certain amount of horsepower, torque etc. And for them such a filter would be come quite handy.
I personally would like a filter or a little info for how many perks a car has already turned on. Going through a collection of meanwhilde 823 cars one by one to get rid of some of the car mastery points stored is a real time destroying process…
Also to add to this, since there are way too many button presses to get in a vehicle, why not have one of those button presses be “a select a tune”. If I have multiple tunes for the same vehicle let me choose a tune to be delivered also!
This is very much needed. I would also like to see if the car has a stock paint color because I like to choose my own color for every car, that way I would know if I already changed it.
