Servers issues, Rivals "Temporarily disabled" & real money wasted

1st: What is the deal with the servers not working on Forza Horizon?

2nd: Why is Turn 10 not replying in the forums? WE WANT SOME ANSWERS!

3rd: Why have Rivals been “Temporarily disabled” & being told to see ForzaMotorsports.net for more info when there is no info??? (See picture)

I can only speak for myself but with Turn 10 and Microsoft not giving any updates or answers to our problems reflects poorly on both parties.

I want the money i’ve spent on the season pass & other add on’s for this game if they don’t intend on giving us some info and i will canceling my pre order for FH3 if this keeps up.

Making same post on xbox.com but doubt anyones money will be refunded even if the problems never get fixed.

Is Rivals on Forza Horizon disabled forever, I want to know because I want to get all the achievements in the game and if rivals is disabled forever, then I can’t get all the achievements.

Would be nice if someone acknowledged the issues. I get seemingly alternating errors between “The Forza Horizon server is not available at this time. Please try again later” and “This feature has been temporarily disabled” one. Shame that the achievement only requires 5 races and I’ve tried multiple times per day for the past week and unable to manage even ONE rival event.

I came here checking on the Rivals servers. I bought the rally pack so that I can work on the rest of the achievements but this one is broken. Please fix!

Is anyone else suffering from the marketplace not connecting on the Xbox One? I purchased the season pass, yet I can’t obtain a single DLC car let alone the Rally DLC!

Not happy with this at all! Turn 10, fix this asap!

It seems to continuously be down. Sometimes the online features work better on Xbox 360 than Xbox One in my experience. However, rivals does not work at all. Other online features seem to be working fine right now (a few temporary downtimes the other day).

That may just be a generic message because the server is just getting too many requests.

Yep, same issue as everyone else. Can’t do the rival achievements which is very frustrating. Directed to this website for info and there isn’t any. Answers please Turn 10.

I’m a Software Development Manager and understand issues to do with bugs, performance and delays in resolution. But what I don’t understand is the complete lack of communication between the provider (MS/Turn 10) and the consumers (us).

The ability to address issues is one thing that has a time frame of days, weeks, or months (or never). The ability to communication and tell your customers what’s happening, even if it’s “We don’t have resolution yet”, takes seconds, and yet we have nothing, other than “see the Forzamotorsport forums”, which of course, also has…nothing.

Shame on you…

Yep and these are now the only two achievements I have left. Come on devs please sort the rivals thing and reliable server access.

Haven’t been able to any Rivals.

I’m getting the same “temporarily disabled” message as others but I think they might not be diabled, just screwed up like the 1000 club medals which will fail to upload , suddeny let a few through, then start failing again.

The reason I suggest this is that people were able to get the achievement yesterday (10th) as shown on these pages

I’m going to keep trying but this is not the best way to advertise the game to potential new customers. I will be getting FH3 anyway, but a couple of friends to whom I’d recommended it have already said they won’t be due to their experiences with this game

I am also a TA member and seen these and the i have sent a msg to the last 4 ppl that unlocked this asking what they did to get it to work but have not got a reply from any of them yet.

They must work for Turn10, Playground or MS also seeing they won’t answer. lol

Just started playing the game (had the game sitting in the wrapper for almost 3 years). I too have been having issues with Rivals achievement. I decided just play on the 360 and not on the one give some of the other issues. Given that the online multiplayer part of the game is working, I suspect there must be some sort of a glitch. I certainly hope that they are working on it. Probably they are spending all their time on FH3, but given that this game was free game with gold, I bet there has been a spike in players playing the game so hopefully they have someone’s attention.

I am also having the same problem. Although I have had some weird experiences over the past week.

Last week I was unable to access multiplayer at all. This week it seams to work fine.

A couple days ago I was able to access one rival event. Now I have the same error as everyone and leader boards are empty. I have also gotten the 999,999 bug.

1000 club medals were not uploading and had to repeat them multiple times. Yesterday the medals just started saving with no loading at all.

It appears they are fixing things, but without any communication from MS/Turn 10 who knows… it may just be coincidence. I hope they get it resolved soon, I would love to finish this game before 3 rolls out. I would also agree the frustration over this lack of communication is also leading me to some burnout and reluctance to order 3 all together. Pun intended.

MICROSOFT & TURN 10… PLEASE RESPOND.

Out of everything that has irritated me over the past few days with Forza Horizon, the one thing that irritates me the most is the lack of communication between T10 and their community.

It really isn’t hard to give a statement to let us know they are aware of the issues, but as we have received nothing at all, it’s safe to assume they’re all off work with illness, or their internet’s been dead continuously for days, or they all died simultaneously, or they’ve all forgotten where they work, or they’re all on holiday, or [insert your own witty remark here], or they’re just being very rude and simply ignoring us… I bet if an individual did something against their ToS, they’d be all over them like a fly on a turd; otherwise, they don’t care. If they did care, we would have had a statement by now!

Regardless of the reason, it’s exceptionally unprofessional.

I’ve made multiple posts in other threads about this issue. The communication from T10 (or Playground) is poor, at best.

Also a member of TA and have seen a couple of people unlock the Rival achievement in the last few days, which seems almost impossible.

The game ran smoothly up until it went BC and GFG.

The amount of seconds it would take to post/tweet something would be worth it’s weight in gold (no pun intended).

Or even update the message we get when trying to access the server, since there is no information where it tells us there is… like “We are working on the issue and expect to have it resolved in blah…” or “Forget about it, it’s not getting fixed” or anything would be nice.

I have had zero server problems since the 9/15 dashboard update.

@Toobsock, I have looked at some of the recent winners, and it says their achievements unlocked while they were ‘offline’. Seeing as though we have to be online to unlock this achievement suggests to me only one thing. If this is the case, then they could be facing a ban and/or a reset of their gamerscore.

@GroupB, Everything runs smoothly for me too with exception to every rivals event.

Ultimately, the community want a resolve. Being left in limbo is NOT a pleasant place to be.
