Servers issues, Rivals "Temporarily disabled" & real money wasted

Still having server issues after the Xbox update, although the frame rates have FINALLY improved. Couldn’t join a lot of multiplayer lobbies, rivals still doesn’t work, and I do get disconnected from Xbox live when I’m playing the game, even though my X1 is showing that it is connected to Xbox live. Really needs to be resolved, will not be buying FH3 till Turn 10 or whoever is responsible can actually be bothered to do something about the server issues.

I Want to get all the achivments but now i cant… Thanks turn 10… Enable the game mode please -_-

Has anyone got any news about this? Really wanted to get all them achievements…

ive emailed forza, reached out to them on twitter and sent PMs here on the forums.
Cant get a word out of anyone… :frowning:

I know they must be busy with FH3, but it doesnt take long to just write a quick status update

You’re not alone in wanting a response. After almost 3 weeks, you’d have thought we’d have heard something.

If it’s any encouragement, they haven’t turned off their leaderboards or clubs, so they still have some servers working with Horizon. I expect (and hope) they will rectify the problem at some point in the future and enable Rivals again.

Moreover; racing rivals is still one of their selling points on the Forza Horizon webpage. So while that information is there, I’ll remain hopeful that these final achievements will be obtainable.

I think this forum is like the 2K sports one.
Means here are Moderators but no T10 Staff crew. The only explanation I can think of.
I payed 30€ for DLC because it’s fair after getting the game for free.
Hope enough did so they find it worthy repairing the Rivals mode for those 2 Achievements.

I just sent a tweet as well. I’d like to get that achievement for 10 Rivals but can’t now.

I’ve been working through the rest of the achievements hoping this would get fixed… Starting to run out of time! Thankfully I haven’t encountered any frame rate drops the last few days and the 1000 club medals are sticking a bit more consistently. Now… FIX THE RIVALS MODE. I tried the FH3 Demo yesterday and it looks great, but won’t buy if we keep getting ignored!

There has been an update to Forza Horizon on Xbox One. Not sure if this update rolled out on the 360; if someone can confirm please.

This update has not fixed the Rivals issue, however, seeing as though an update has been rolled-out, it shows there is still on-going support by T10/Playground games. How far this support extends and to what features remains to be seen, but it leaves me hopeful that they will fix other issues we are having.

BUT, I’m still irritated by the fact that not one member of the development team has reached out to the community and given any sort of statement in relation to these issues. Though, they maybe listening to us does not suggest we know we’ve been heard, and as a result, we’re naturally going to keep on pressing until there is a resolve!

I impulse bought VIP over the weekend, fired-up the game (xbox 360), and…

I also came here looking for answers… ?!

Started to play on X1 and there was a 653mb update, lets hope it fixes the server issues

Edit: it hasn’t really fixed anything, rivals is still disabled and half the leaderboards do not work, joining online lobbies is still hit and miss, still get disconnected within the game even though my X1 console is connected

The update allowed me to use the marketplace and buy tokens (which I then successfully bought fast travel with). I have not noticed any other changes yet.

Oh cool, at least they have fixed one of the ways we can give them money :slight_smile:

I know its easy to be cynical, but that would suggest that some work is at least being done on the network/backend issues so I’m hopeful a fix for rivals will come soon also.
That being said I’m still very frustrated that nobody can bang a few keys on a keyboard to acknowledge the situation.

I sent a private message here to one of the Turn 10 staff (I won’t say which to avoid him/her being bombarded with questions) He/She replied say that they couldn’t comment on this issue as they were part of the design team but did confirm that they are aware of this issue and people are working on it.

Still strange that nobody from PR/Dev wants to write a one-liner to that effect

I mean its definitely good news, but atm its just hearsay. I don’t understand why we can’t get it from an official source directly? :frowning:
