Series S vs Xbox one X

Well FH5 would have been built on the SDK for the XboxSeriesX and S due to the fact when they show it off its built on that architecture. With the Xbox One X / Xbox One they would have had to scale down as the consoles are so old so they don’t really care. I would 100% go with the Xbox Series S due to the fact the game is made for S / X and it will run smoother and you won’t get any issues with Graphics or sound etc etc.

To be honest no one knows what Xbox one x will run at.

If going off forza horizon 4 then potentially Xbox one x could run at 4k 30fps which if that’s the case then it’s higher resolution that Xbox Series s will run at. Ok so the loading times will be slower as it’s running off HDD rather than SSD but we will wait and see.

Also no ray tracing for Xbox one x but that I’m not to bothered about

anyway they gave up on ray tracing just keeping it for forzavista not to say that they removed it totally. Back in the days they had talked about using ray tracing for sounds, looks they forgot about it. Anyway only few will go down to denying raytracing is not really required to run after piñatas …

On Xbox, I just guess the most difference will be on level of details with automatic adjustment of settings depending on device like it is already featured on PC version ( rendering adapting depending on targeted framerate )

They have stated recently that they have used ray tracing for sound (although that’s technically not ray tracing).

Oh, good, that’s something worth testing. I will definitely try that on my PC to check if rendering is different from xbox. Thx for the info.
