M400 is practically a Rossion Q1 with more aero kits. In fh4 Rossion Q1 had V12 racing so I have I hope for M400 too. I have hopes for another powerbuild beast but we will see. M600 going to be an great allrounded that could work both Rwd and Awd. Ktm can be Good at S1 this time unlike in Fh4 which was always at under the Lotus Elise Gt1 shadow. Can also be formidable opponent against Konigsegg CCGT in S2 I dont Have much hope for there. Nismo Gtr has Charge Body kit and as far see I see from the stream It increases the handling value by a large margin so it could potentially give a lot more downforce then any of the current GTRs. Mini seems to end up being trash. I dont Hope for an EV vehicle after See how trash is the Nio Ep9. Ferrari 488 challenge will probably downgraded to S1 with dirt tyres so can have a potential as an Awd balanced build in s1. Both 4runner and Tundra looks formidable offroad vehicles.
I had a really nice AWD swapped Rosian Q1 (it was an updated M400) for Dirt races in FH4. I’m really interested to see how the orginal M400 does in FH5 in the same config. The M600 I had as a S2 RWD Road car, it was a bit of a lunatic but was fun to drive and I’d build the same again!
Noble has been a fav manufacturer of mine for ages so I’m happy to see the orginal M400 make an appearence.
None of this has any relevance in-game, unfortunately.
It’s all about the power graph that defines how its rated by the PI system.
There is a reason why all modern bi-turbo engines (Audi RS models, AMGs, BMWs and so on) are complete trash and need to be swapped if the car is tuned for performance. And if they can’t (AMG C63 S) the car will be awful.
The same reason why all electric cars are trash.
To some extent and I understand that not every new addition has to be a top tier car. The engine issue really frustrates me though because all those modern engines are great irl but due to the flawed PI system they are so inferior I simply can’t stick with them and race the car knowing it could perform so much better with the swap.
We are talking seconds per lap here, nothing minor.
If the leaked McLaren 620R is true, it will meet the same fate. 5.2L V10 swap or bust. Regardless of how insanely good its bi-turbo V8 is irl.
I do wonder if the actual car manufacturers are aware that their cars are being poorly represented in the game, I wonder if they would be so keen to lend their names to the game, but I suppose money talks I guess.
Glad to see my cynicism proven wrong. I’d love to praise PGG for this, except I refuse to say anything positive about a company where, 4 months after launch, they still haven’t delt with an issue as serious as constant crashes and still haven’t even acknowledged many major issues plaguing the game in spite of many reports and forum posts containing a wealth of well documented information.
So will the fixes include making co-op work on seasonal championships, not being able to create a club, treasure chest randomly not appearing for some and also weekly challenges not working for some?
From a well-known longterm-blogger on FH4 I catched up that there anyway will be nearly no races/seasonal championships in seasonal lists of next season. (Coop worked well so far with my mob)
Can this possibly be true? Would be the final nail in the coffin for my interest. (Hard to imagine for me, though my summary of FH-ecolution over the years already was: Everything but racing)
I’m talking about seasonal co-op in the championships where it was putting players into wrong race, no car section screen coming up and then being kicked out because of that a known issue. And yes I am aware there are no seasonal championship races in the next season its mostly about PR stunts, supposed to be some new ones being introduced.
The moment I realised that if I have to do Seasonal Championships in Co-Op mode, the Game will decide when it wants me to race and throw me midway into 2nd or 3rd race with any random car and my team mates will also be in some randomized car. Takes the fun away. So far in 4 months, I haven’t been able to complete a single Co-Op Championship in Festival Playlist where I entered at the start of 1st race in appropriate car.
They couldn’t even cut-copy-paste FH4 code for Co-Op play which worked very well with the Green Circle on screen asking people to join.
A couple of times it did work for me and essentially the seasonal championships worked like the trial, if you won the first and second race as a team against a team of ai with other random players you then didn’t need to do the third race, but then it stopped working, was getting the wrong championship coming up and the car selection screen not coming up and sometimes like you say it behaved like the open race you get put into the world and having to wait for a race to end before you could take part.
Are you sure you really got what Manteo announced?
“You can expect the theme to change from series to series in the future as part of FH5’s Evolving World.”
So it’s obviously not a singular event as you seem to believe. Assuming “Racing” is one “Theme” the only question is how many other “Themes” there are. “Race” may appear as season theme somewhat like every 3 or 4 months once. Not exactly a “racing based game” anymore.
Well this series called horizon rush take over, maybe the next series will be horizon apex takeover or one of the other festival sites such as Baja for cross country racing who knows,
Maybe. Or maybe not. Less certain than your initial belief, hm? Let’s notice Manteo didn’t contradict this worry in my question: “However: More theme change over the seasons in future means more often seasons without races, probably even most, right?”
