This is EXACTLY why I’ve felt the loyalty cars should have been just as big of a priority as the VIP issue. For folks with Tier 6 rewards coming, that’s a few million credits just wasting away. If there was a sell back option I’d have no issue with the delay since I could just purchase a Viper, P1, Huracan, etc and just sell the loyalty car when it arrives. Sure you’d take a bit of a loss but it wouldn’t be millions wasted like it would be now if I decided purchase one of the hyper cars.
Edit: Also with no sellback option, Wheel Spins loose their value greatly once you acquire the cars. I just won the Bently and got the Congratulations on winning the high value item but noticed on my next roll the Bentley is still on the Wheel so if I win it again it’s a wasted spin.
I accidentally choose “remove car”, which i paid for. Is there any chance to get back that car? I didnt want to lose it, i just wanted to change my current :(. I dont want to buy that again. Is it possible?
I’ve noticed in the game that you cannot sell any of your garage vehicles. It’s weird to me. When I get a car from leveling up that I know I won’t drive, I want to sell you NOT “remove”. Does anyone know how to sell a car in FH2 XB1 version or am I not seeing the button to sell car??
Like Forza Motorsport 5, once a vehicle is in your garage you cannot sell the vehicles, only remove them from your garage. Speculation from within the forum is that this decision was made to prevent cheating by players who found exploits in the car selling system.
So, be careful with your credits and don’t buy vehicles you don’t want.
There is a one time offer to sell a car if you win a car with the Wheelspin and you already own it. Right after you accept the prize, a question will pop up and ask if you want to sell the car at a discounted rate. I think it something like 50% of its value. This is the only time you get this chance to sell a car.
I personally think this is an excellent feature, and one that is of the utmost importance! I’m a maxed level 50 Gold on Horizon #1 so I know how bad it gets. It’s all about the prizes. In Horizon #1, once you’ve reached gold level 50, you don’t level up anymore. Instead, you start earning prizes for about…215,000 experience points (if my memory hasn’t failed me), and those prizes give you MASSIVE amounts of cash and very expensive cars on a regular basis. As a result, people easily collected hundreds of millions of gold in-game. I assume there might be something similar in this game as well.
One friend I know, even started stacking 250GTOs (The most expensive car in the game) which cost 10m a piece. He had… I think 40 of em’ before they switch to Horizon 2. So yea, it’s 100% necessary as to not devalue the currency in the game.
I am on XBOX ONE. But remember that it is only if you receive a duplicate car from the Wheelspin that is already in your garage. I am 100% on this as I have done this at least 3 or 4 times so far. And you have to accept the offer to sell the car when the prompt asks you. If you click through to fast or pass on the offer, you do not get another chance.
Your only option is to donate them to science or the poor.
Edit: I’m level 215 and have never won a car I already have in my garage. I’ve won the same car more than once, but only if I got rid of the first one already.
For some reason I came home from a long day of work last week and bought a McLaren P1.
There was no reason for me to buy another but somehow I forgot I already had one and my eyes glazed over in the autoshow and missed the fact that I already had one (one of my tier reward cars).
At least I was spending fake money in a game and made up the credits pretty quickly!
