Campaign Restrictions and Opponents
At most route locations, the player can use any car at any PI level and the Drivatar opponents will match the Car Type and PI level; Cross Country Exhibitions have requirements that the Car Type be Sports Utility Heroes, Offroad, Offroad Buggies, or Extreme Offroad. Showcase and Bucket List events provide a specific car for the player to complete the challenge. Players do not have to play any of the pre-set “Horizon Presents” events and instead can complete the Exhibition and Championship at each location with their own custom Blueprint event.

Drift Zones

There are 17 Drift Zones located around the map of FH3. Drift Zones are PR Stunts that are unlocked through upgrading the level of festival sites. Drift Mode is activated when the player’s car enters either end of the zone and counts drift points through the length of the zone. The zone is Failed when the player leaves the road or drives in reverse, but not when colliding with a traffic car or using Rewind. A leaderboard for each zone can be seen by pressing X on the event from the World Map or in freeroam.

Each zone has a target for one, two, or three stars, and pays out more CR, XP, and Fans for more stars. Once a player achieves 3 stars on a PR event, the difference between their score and the target is indicated as “SP” - Stunt Points - which are counted in the player’s Stunt Points rank in the Rivals menu. For example, if a player scores 87,321 points in a zone with a 3-star target of 80,000 points, the player will receive 7 SP.
