Even though I really LOVE the blueprint feature (and its massive potential for future improvements!) I have to admit I did most of my championships simply with the races the developers made. Main reason was that they know the tracks well enough to know which car divisions / themes fit best on which tracks. At least for the first few months post-release. :stuck_out_tongue:

Below is a list copied from a spreadsheet I made with this info for each of the championship starting routes in game. I’m planning to do a lot more with it in the future but this info is now already available. I will post it sorted on car theme and on zone, depending how you want to look at it.

Nice resource! Thanks. I just did what Forza told me to the first time through too. But since I finished those I have been setting up my own blueprint championships for the cars and courses I really like and want to do. Doing the Forza version got me to do the stuff I would have never done on my own (and will never do again!). Now I can ignore the stuff I dislike (Hyper cars, extreme offroad) and do stuff specifically designed for what I want to do. I think blueprints are totally genius and really make the game interesting and open ended. Still trying to learn all of the courses I much prefer point to point over circuit races.

I don’t know if it has only started happening since I completed all events but I swear some areas now adjust to the car I am in (sometimes) and still gives me Horizon Presents for different car groups at each location.

They do, although if you pull up to a Cross Country event you’ll almost always get an Offroad/Buggy/Extreme Offroad championship regardless of car. Makes sense of course.

Yeah I was just contrasting with the OP which sounds like there is only 1 option for each location. I think there is a few official options for each location.

That happens with exhibitions a lot, not with championships AFAIK

I like the rally championships the most and my favorite circuit race is the scramble one in Yarra with the view on the Mountain. My favorite P2P race is the one passing by Maroondah lake.

I still see Horizon presents as well and I have been blueprinting almost everything to Anything Goes, current Time/Weather, Rolling time and 10laps + where possible

Is there no retro saloons championship?

I got a Retro Saloons one in Byron Bay Grand high speed sprint championship, I was in an E36 HE Edition so as SatNite says it probably does tailor to the car you are in somewhat. I also did the Horizon presents tracks for championships and exhibitions, after completion I just use blueprints which is quite fun

I went to the Byron Bay Grand High Speed Sprint in the BMW M3 E36 HE like you said and the Horizon presents championship is still the same as what I posted before, being the Modern Rally championship. So that means I was right and only the Horizon exhibitions have multiple car classes, not the Horizon championships.

There are several not included in the Horizon championships like Retro saloon, Modern muscle, European sports cars and also the special series like the cars from the movies and a few others. But you can always blueprint them as well of course.

I’ll check tonight in another car if the Horizon presents championships change. If so then this thread is quite irrelevant. :slight_smile:

I know for the exhibition it does, I finished a championship in a cult classic then went on to do an Exhibition where it showed me the same category, changed to a Super Hot Hatch which also changed when I went to the course again

Thanks for the info. Many of my favourite cars are in retro saloons so I guess that’s where blueprint comes in handy. Thanks for listing the events and glad your work wasn’t in vain!

Yep indeed, I’m not too satisfied with the default Horizon presents championships either, way too much focus on the obvious classes like everything that goes offroad and then the popular hypercars / track toys / supercars etc. I did enjoy the rally championships and Evo vs. Impreza the most.

But like you said, blueprints come in extremely handy to tailor the championships to what you prefer. If retro saloons is your thing I think the list above still comes in handy as you can very much get an idea of what the championship is about if you look at the championship name and/or which car class the devs used for it.

Planning to do some custom blueprint tailoring for myself as well to race a bit more with the classes I haven’t used yet. :slight_smile:

Thats good to know that work didnt go to waste haha, the default championships arent too bad but I agree alot of the same do appear.
