Road America and car questions.

Hello, I’m new to the Forza Motorsport experience and I was curious of the new Forza Motorsport 7.

I have recently went to a Road America to see an IMSA race and it was amazing with all the cars and drivers at the facility.

So after going to Road America I went to one of my friend’s house and he has Forza Motorsport 6. We played Forza Motorsport 6 and I enjoyed it. I was looking at the cars and the track and I had some questions because I want to buy and Xbox and get Forza Motorsport 7 .

In Forza Motorsport 6, they had I think, only two Super Trofeo cars and they were not the new Lamborghini Huracan GT3 cars. Will they have the new Huracan GTD cars in the game including the #16 (I would assume) Xbox/Forza/Monster energy, Change racing Huracan GT3?

This also confused me on how the PC (Prototype Challenge) FLM09 cars were not in Forza Motorsport 6. Will the #38 Performance tech FLM09 chevy be in the game? (or the other cars in the PC class too? )

I see that the Corvette Racing #3, Ford GT #67, and a few others are in the game for GTLM. Will Risi competition, BMW Team RLL, and the Porsche team will be in the game too?

Then comes the P class, I noticed on the video that my friend showed me had a P type class Porsche that did look pretty cool. My question though is will there be any other DPi cars? Examples:

31 Whelen Team Fox, #5 Mustang Sampling Team Fox Cadillac DPi, #10 Konica Minolta Cadillac DPi, #90 Visit Florida The Spirit of Daytona Racing Nissan Nismo DPi, #22 Tequila Patron Nissan Nismo DPi, and some others from Mazda and ORECA. (there is about 10 P class cars in the current series)

Then for GTD class cars, Will the Weather tech Porshe #50, Scudria Corsa #63 Ferrari 488 GT3, Turner Motorsports #96 BMW M6, #93 Michael Shank Racing w/Curb Agajanian Acura NSX GT3 and the other GTD cars be in Forza Motorsport 7? (there is about 16 GTD cars in the class in the current series)

I also noticed when going through Road America on Forza Motorsport 6 that the brigs and stattion bridge advertisement was replaced with the Forza Motorsport 6 logo but still had the outline of the
company logo. According to my friend they used to have it on Forza Motorsport 4. The Road America bridge should show a Continental tire advertisement but I do not know if that changes over time or not but I would like to see the Brigs and Strattion logo back onto Forza Motorsport 7.

Will there be some Porsche GT3 Cup cars and other Super Trofeo Lamborghini cars in the game too?

Will there be a part of the game where there will be non upgraded multi class races with the cars listed above? So then it is like a true IMSA racing experience, and you’re racing you’re own class and not the other higher or lower classes.

Will there be a free play where a user can set up how many laps they want and what type of racing series they want to play with? (so then there will not be a random NASCAR in a IMSA only race)

I would hope that these cars would be in the game so then I can be racing at road america with the #63 Ferrari going down the back stretch.

If not hopefully at least some of the cars in the IMSA racing series will be in the game or added in the future as a download for the game.

Thank you

The list of racing cars in FM7 will be announced in the next few weeks. Until then we don’t know specifics on all cars. Feel free to use the Car List thread for further discussion. We may know more about game modes and classes after gamescom next week.

I love Road America! I have been traveling there from Kansas with my friend for a few years now to go to the Weathertech International Challenge which is a mix of new and old racing cars from a ton of different racing diciplines. If you ever get the chance you should definitely go because every year there is a 97 Benetton, Williams, and Jordan F1 cars and hearing them go down the back straight is indescribable!

Road America continues to be one of my most favorite of all the tracks that Turn 10 has included in the games.

Road America is my favorite track of all time. It has everything in a race track for me, long straights, slow speed corners, high speed corners and the track has a really nice flow to it. Unfortunately, it’s not really advertised in the game that well. To my knowledge of playing FM6, there aren’t many showcase events at Road America. It would also be nice to see night time and rain at the track as well.

You would have gone bananas when we were on Forza 4. I think we had most of the grid from the series, including the Porsche GT3 Cup and Prototype Challenge cars.

For Forza 7, the answer to nearly all of your questions is… hopefully!

As Max said, there is a specific reveal planned for the race cars, but I would first caution that some or most will probably be added as DLC after FM7 comes out and since Forza 4 we’ve fallen behind in what cars we have in-game versus what’s out on track. As far as I know Turn 10 and IMSA still have a good relationship and no one has an exclusive license on the cars in the series, so hopefully we will have a more up-to-date roster of the new DPi and GT cars soon.

As for game modes and customization, again, the answer is… hopefully.
