Rivals Leaderboard Wipe?

I’m only referring to rivals here, as I don’t really look at the other leaderboards:

  • I agree that cheat/dodgy times are a relatively small proportion of the recorded times;

  • In general, the vast majority of the dodgy times are at the top of the rivals leaderboards. They are (generally) easy to identify for anyone who has knowledge of the game and should be very easy to remove;

  • It should therefore be a swift task to clean out the top of the leaderboards. Cheat times lower down are less of a concern and can be dealt with by exception, swiftly investigating and dealing with them if they are reported by the community;

  • legitimate times should never be removed. There really is no excuse for this other than that whatever system PGG is using is hopelessly flawed. For example, how did my legit 1.44.1 time at CdM get deleted when clearly bogus times of a few seconds remain and faster (legit) times in the same car also remain? The community would easily be able to go through and identify most dodgy times in short order and I do not see why PGG is incapable of doing this properly and without error.
