no matter what i set in input mappings, the right bumper always rear view
Hi, DerpDragon,
Thank you for reporting your problem to us.
It might be helpful to give us a little more information about which model of controller you are using and what your computer set up is. Were you switching the on/off toggle in the input options in the game’s menu and it isn’t working? Are you trying something else?
LV T10
i am using a wired xbox 360 controller on USB. i am trying to use the right shoulder bumper for “handbrake”. in the controller mappings, i set the handbrake mapping to the right shoulder bumper. the game accepted this.
but when i get on the track and press the right shoulder bumper, not only does it activate handbrake, but it also activates “look back/ rear view”. i see the front of my car, looking back.
it’s like “look back” is always mapped to RB.
Just installed the game today.
Also using a wired original Microsoft XBOX 360 controller.
Custom mapping allows to assign the RB for something else than “look back”, but in-game it does BOTH input functions simultaneously. The same goes for assigning right analog stick to different use. This could be solved by simply editing a config ini file if this file:
A) exists and
B) the default input assignments are not HARD-CODED.
Are they?
The fact, that this issues is neither further acknowledged nor solved is quite surprising. This should be the easiest thing to scratch from the buglist tracker?
I play game on keyboard and I cannot seem to map rear view at all. Just unbinds.
