Hey guys… So i’ve recently played some good EventLabs based on Ridge Racer, which are “Seaside Route 765” and “Ridge City: Park Town”, this one seen on the FCG. I wondered…
How about a crossover with Ridge Racer? This type of partnership is all about in-game content, like Hot Wheels.
It could be great if we had a car pack or a festival playlist theme… OR EVEN BOTH! Maybe to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series?
The cars i would love to see and drive in Forza, at least… are the iconic cars such as:
-
Kamata Fiera Launch Edition (2004)
A 765
-
Danver Bayonet (2006)
B 699

-
Soldat Crinale (RRV Iteration)
S2 998

-
Kamata Angelus (RRV Iteration
S2 998
-

-
Yamasa Raggio (the car has it’s own topic, but someone just locked it for a dumb reason)
A 765

The devs should ask Namco’s permission to borrow these fictional car assets like they did with Mattel btw
I’d pay for it!
In a fictional scenario, when the devs decide to work on these cars for the game, They maybe rework the car models, readapt them to the game.
One interesting doubt is how the car interior would look like. In Ridge Racer 7, it has the most detail in the franchise, including interior. Yamasa Raggio should share the OG Raggio interior with the same tachometer and stuff.
I think we need more votes in order for this car to get known by the whole forza community (very low chances)

Agreed. A model rework using the RR7 assets could be a good decision in order to get the proper shape if these cars lands on México. As for the car interior, it’s quite hard, but there’s a chance to dismantle the chassis and take a better look to the seats, windshields and dashboard (with the proper tachometer)
Also, It could be a great thing if this ever happen to Forza… Even though Draw and Drift was the last game of the franchise, they still got the IP, and they planned to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary with Ridge Racer Night, a music festival with all the songs from the series. Taking place in Shibuya, Tokyo. It will be live on July 7th! I am not going to miss it <3
Releasing my fictional Ridge Racer car pack with the update falling on October 2024 could be a game changing update for the Ridge Racer fans out there.

Ah, by the way @Foxfer64 … Would you like these cars as a street cars or drift cars?
Ridge Racer is all about drift racing, but i’d prefer street legal versions of them, excepting Crinale and Angelus, since these cars are track oriented

Ooh! Good question… I am not sure though… How about both, having an alternative mode for speed and drift racing?
One thing that could be dope is a racing bodykit (excepting Crinale and Angelus) seen on Class 4,5,6 (Ridge Racer PSP) or Tier 3 or 4, also applying a better speed.

Having such modes by toggling the assigned button like the AMG ONE, Ford Mustang Mach-E or the GM T50 seems a very practical feature for people who wants it for speed racing or for drifters. I mean, by toggling the assigned button, the car disables the TCS, making the car go sideways easily (but not drifting over 300 km/h tbh)
Having a racing bodykit for the Fiera and the Bayonet in the upgrade menu could be awesome too! And with some original racing liveries that can be changed at the user’s heart content! I also found out this Real Life Raggio was spotted without the stickers, which it could be a canvas for custom liveries.
How about sound? Should the cars have the same sound from Ridge Racer 6? I mean, the cars sounds so great in that game (While the Yamasa Raggio should have the original NSX sound, as it is powered by it’s 3.2L V6 engine, with DIC-R Inyectors, ARC intercooler and ORC Clutch)

Ah… It makes me wonder, what logo should be if this car eventually comes to the game… Should it be Soldat’s logo instead of Project Mu?
The car should be indeed named Soldat #27 Yamasa Raggio instead of Project Mu Yamasa Raggio. I find it off to me, as a Ridge Racer fan.

A post was merged into an existing topic: Project Mu Yamasa Raggio 2006
Agreed! All the cars should have their Ridge Racer 6 sounds, excepting Crinale and Angelus since you mentioned their RRV Iterations before…
What logo should be if this car eventually comes to the game… Should it be Soldat’s logo instead of Project Mu?
For better presentation, I think It’s good to use Soldat’s logo… Project Mu’s whereabouts are quite unknown… And of couse, it should be named Soldat #27 Yamasa Raggio, just like the other racecars who joined the fh5 roster.
I’m somehow having fun chatting about this car
! Even though the votes didn’t increase a lot since i first saw it (9 votes since June 17th), it only raised 4… which is looking good to me, but not enough to get this car into the roster

The SYNCi looks pretty cool for the game tbh…

Good car choice! Event though your sound suggestions are quite common, It could be worth if they borrow their original sound assets.
The interior is what we worry about. Should they have their proper dashboard with their proper tachometers?

TBH, the First fatalita model seen on Rage Racer and R4 is looking good, but I also prefer this version of the Fatalita, using a Gallardo sound file.
As far as I know, the OG Fatalita had a 2 rotor Wankel Engine, should it be a higher pitched RX-7 sound?

Just like the Fast X car pack or the Universal Icon car Pack. This should be worth it with 5 of these well known cars

we had so much fun chatting on the Yamasa Raggio, that it ended up having it’s own topic talking about a crossover with Ridge Racer…
BRING IT ON! It could be great having this on October (month when the original ridge racer was debuted on arcades back in 1993)

a 2x657cc rotary engine i guess… maybe they can pitch up the rx-7 engine

Quite a bit, yes… the G1 Fatalita should sound like a RX-7 but with a higher pitch. Although i still recommend using the original car sounds from the Ridge Racer franchise

You meant 1993, right? Like… 2023 marked the 30th anniversary of the arcade version… while this year will mark 30 years since the PS1 port debut
